The back-room dealings have more action going on than a Bond film casting meeting.

My 2 cents of thoughts:
Biggest Losers: Philiadelpia Eagles: WTF?? picking a QB in Kevin Klob with your first pick? Clearly this is sending some sort of message to Donovan McNabb!!
Miami Dolphins: Passing on Brady Quinn and letting the poor kid sweat it out until #22 when the Browns very wisely traded back into the first round to take him. Miami, why pick Ted Ginn jr first??!! Sure he was a fine reciever at Ohio State but he is still recovering from a serious leg injury. I love the video of Cam Cameron trying to explain his pick to the Dolphins faithfull and them booing him!! Not a smart pick, Cam, but at least you guys smartened up with your second pick in BYU quarterback John Beck.
Biggest Winners: Oakland Raiders.. Gotta admit they actually did pretty well with their draft selections, plus getting rid of Randy Moss (sent to New England, where I think he'll actually do pretty well!)
Well my Broncos pick all defensive players this year, which was a serious need for us.. I'm really excited about Jarvous Moss and Tim Crowder!! While Marcus Thomas has had several red flags against him, I think he's serious about his committment to the Broncos and can be a terrific addition for us.. Also really like OT Ryan Harris, we need another offensive lineman incase Matt Lepsis or anyone else goes down to injury this year!!

As I Dol-fan, I cannot agree more. However, this pick is not about Ginn. No matter how he turns out, the fortune of the Phins will NOT change until they get that QB they have so desperately needed since Marino left 7 seasons ago. So, what Cam is telling us is that Beck is better than Quinn. I have my doubts, but all I can do is hope.

I disagree TD. I like the Raiders' draft becusae they will still be awful . I think JR will tank as a rookie(craptastic OL and no Moss? ) as will the new coach(too young, unqualified puppet). Let's face it, our Broncos/Chargers have a quasi bye week when they play the Jokeland Raiders.

On a lighter note, I'd be happy if Harrington got another shot to be the man in Atlanta.
By the way, is it too early to be assembling the CBn Fantasy Football League like we did last year? Any takers?

Bill Walsh died from leukemia today at age 75. He was, in my opinion, the greatest football coach of all time.

Chargers over Saints
I aint giving up on my Bolts! SD canned Marty Chokenhiemer and now they can move forward in the playoffs without his incompetence and jawdroppingly bad luck. The Saints have an awesome team on O but their Defense isn't gonna be enough to stop SD's point machine. A second year as a starter will give Philip Rivers the confidence to close the deal along with a new rookie WR to compliment an already steller cast on both sides of the ball. Rivers vs Brees...gonna be high noon in AZ!

Well after a tragic offseason for my Broncos, following the murder of Darrent Williams and the tragic death of Damian Nash, its time to focus on the football.. I think that Travis Henry, Brandon Stokley and Sam Adams are great additions for our team.. It was sad to see us cut ties with linebacker Al Wilson. Jay Cutler will come into his own this season, no more distractions with that idiot Jake Plummer!! (yes Tarl, I've disregarded him.. I now think Brian Griese was better for us!)

We also aquired Ron Riviera to coach the LBs-the guy who really led the Bears to the SB with his D. So, I dodn't miss any of the coaches. SD is better for it. Now, in a rebuilding situation, I wouldn't be thrilled about Norv Turner. But he hasn't got that black cloud of playoff failure like MS. Remember, Bill Billichick was once canned by the Browns...I think Turner will keep the fort safe enough for the team to win. They have alot of motivated guys who really don't need to be micro managed.
