Seriously-water was in hell last Saturday. IF the Saints win on Sun-Hell freezes over, and Mardi Gras begins, 5 weeks earlier than expected.

Sunday, Jan. 21
New Orleans at Chicago 3:00 FOX
The Saints' first playoff win was in the 2000 season against the St. Louis Rams, then lost the next round to the Vikings. And now, just look at where 1st year head coach Sean Payton has taken them. This will be the Saints' first ever NFC Championship game. As hcmv007 aptly puts it, and I paraphrase: 'There is water in Hell, and it just may be getting ready to freeze.'
-------------------------------------
Sunday, Jan. 21
New England at Indianapolis 6:30 CBS
So, this will be a repeat of the 2003 AFC Conference title between to Colts and the Patriots (remember the "Pollard Rule""?). The Colts lost to the Patriots 24-14 . Of course, the Pats went on to win Super Bowl 38.
-------------------------------------
Will the Saints go marching on? Will Peyton Maning finally get an AFC Conference title? More playoff thrills and spills this coming Sunday.

Mike Vick gets busted at an Airport carrying a substance that resembles marijuana in a fake water bottle, or as you know him by his other name, Ron Mexico. Real original nickname there, Mike, or Ron. Dude also has genital herpes, so ladies don't hook up with this dude. I guess Matt Schaub is the starter next year for the Falcons after all.
Super Bowl Prediction-Colts vs Bears. Peyton gets a monkey off his back, and the Bears use their weather advantage to beat the Saints.

I dug out my Gamecube a couple of nights ago, stuck in Madden '07 and played the AFC Championship game... the end result was Colts 37 - Patriots 30..
Last night I played the NFC Championship game.. End result, Saints 51 -Bears 37!!! I wonder if these scores will have any bearing on the real games??? lol..
Anyone else here play Madden, and if so, have you tried the Championship games??

Eagles won 24-10, so I wouldn't put too much stock into it.

Sadly, No.
Will the Saints go marching on?
YES! What a game, indeed. From 21-3 to 34-38.
Will Peyton Maning finally get an AFC Conference title?

Da Bears blasted Da Aints, but hey, the Saints had a wonderful season anyway, return most of their starters and will be back next year.
Congrats to Chicago and Indy. Prediction: Colts 28 Bears 14

Congrats to both Teams and both head coaches for making history...It should be a fun two weeks here in Chi-town.

Both were exciting games yesterday, though I was slightly disappointed at how sloppy the Saints played..4 turnovers don't help you win games!! Oh well, New Orleans has a lot to be proud of.. a fantastic season, and they'll definitely be a contender next season!!
As for Indianapolis, yeah as a Broncos fan I should be hating them getting to the big game, as they've kicked our out of the playoffs far too many times, but I just can't help rooting for Peyton Manning finally getting over his own playoff hump and having his own shot at a ring. Plus he's a very humble and classy guy!!

Colts 28
over
Bears 20
Next year: I'm gonna pick my frickin Chargers until they get it right!
San Diego over New Orleans
The Saints just need one draft to upgrade their defense and they're off to Pheonix...As for SD, I don't trust Marty Shottenheimer in a car with a cup of hot coffee but they're too talented to fail again and Rivers goes into '07 as an experienced pro bowl QB whom they can trust to open things up...if Cohwer and Manning can overcome the choke label, there is hope for our coach. Not much though.

indeed. All of this, and I don't have to see the Patriots in the Super Bowl again. More than I could hope for.

The most over covered team in sports are hogging up the spotlight again...with two Black head coaches in the SB?
Yeah, I thought color didn't matter in today's society-except for the media, and the talking heads on ESPN. How about these are 2 good coaches, who have known each other for years and are very good friends. THAT's the story, not their skin color.
Oh and Tarl, thanks! We last won a game in the playoffs in the Wild card round in 2000, so by that logic, in 2014, the Saints next playoff appearance, we will win the conference championship, but lose the Super Bowl, but in 2021, we will win the damn thing!

It is still Colts 28 Bears 14. This is the first time I am not pulling for a team to win, despite the fact the Colts are the only team who have LSU players on it.

Bears 21
Peyton throws 3 TD passes in 1st half and the game is 24-7 at halftime. Then the Colts play it safe from here on out and the Bears make it a respectable score.
I have no clue. It would be nice to see Peyton and Tony finally get one though!
