Johnboy, you're leading after today...but there are 2 games tomorrow...hmm...but we have the same two teams picked...This may perhaps be the only time where I top the leaderboard.

Nice job to hcmv007's Saints over the Browns, although Cleveland gave them a good fight. I was impressed by Reggie Bush!
Packers vs Bears: Okay so we know that Green Bay was gonna be terrible, but getting shut out 26 to nothing!!!?? WTF?? Its sad to see a great player like Favre having to play for such a bad team!!
Bengals vs Chiefs: OUCH!! Poor Trent Green taking a massive hit that sent him off on a stretcher!! Luckily he's only got a concussion and will be okay. Richmond Spy, your Bengals looked great.
Philly vs Houston: Johnboy your Eagles look like a team that has had a very heavy weight liffed off their shoulders ( a certain former receiver who is now with Dallas!). Philly could have some potential this year.
Broncos vs. Rams: !! We played absolutly horrible!! Tarl_Cabot's already been text-messaging me!lol Well just see what happens in that Chargers vs Raiders game tomorrow!!! lol Five ing turnovers, two fumbles and and THREE Plummer interceptions. I give the Rams a lot of credit as they were the team that was ready to play today. But still, I am very concerned how poorly Denver's offense was..thankfully our defense played pretty well and only allowed the Rams field goals (a total of six!!). Things have gotta improve and FAST!! Next week we got KC and then New England after that!!

I need to see how the other 2 games play out.
Phins over Steelers, Browns over Saints, Cowboys over Jags-WTF was I thinking?!

I hated seeing Trent Green go down like that. After witnessing Palmer go down on the first drive of the postseason last year, I can only imagine what must be going through KC fans' heads right now. I just hope he has a speedy recovery and doesn't suffer any long-term effects from this.
Also, it looks like Johnboy will be leading after the 1st week in pick'em...congrats.

Art Schell showed why he didn't get another head coaching job before now. His team was pathetic.

San Diego looked good Tarl! Enjoy first place while it lasts!! Denver is gonna be seriously pissed off and fired up for next weeks game at KC, and I believe we'll bounce back.

Champ: Tough choice, but I will go with the Baltimore Ravens. I have been hard on them in the past, but they looked AWESOME on Sunday.
Chump: Oakland Raiders. I like Art Shell, but man this team BLOWS. I think Ohio State could beat these guys.
Donte Stallworth looks to be a great fit for the Eagles; QB controversy is silenced in Chicago, for now; Deion Branch is a Seahawk. What a week 1 it was!
Here's hoping Trent Green recovers soon. I had the same injury and it kept me out 2 months; hopefully his is not so severe (mine was).

Champs: Baltimore and honorable mentions go to New Orleans, Arizona and Cincinnati.. all three got off to a great start!!
Chumps: Denver( yes I'm ashamed to admit it, but we really sucked!! lol), Oakland (you know you have a terrible team when your disguntled wide receiver, Jerry Porter is laughing and joking with fans on the sideline and not paying any attention to whats going on on the field!! ), Green Bay and Tampa Bay..

Actually, I came pretty damn close-I was wrong on 2 games (So far). I'm going to do my champ/chump segment since tonight's game should be a good one.
Champ: Chicago Bears. All the crap I hurled at them on how they did in the draft is making me eat my words. The Bears have an offense! Grossman, if healthy, is a good QB. They looked good shredding a much improved Detroit football team.
Chump: Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 2 games and all they can score is 3 points. The Raiders have outscored these guys-with 6 points agaisnt the Ravens. Chris Simms it seems will have his days numbered-but the fault is with the O-Line and the defense.

Still, another dominant win for the Boltsmeisters. And Rivers thrw the ball this week...and looked damn good doing it.

I was about to point this out, hcmv007...you've dominated this week. Congrats!Actually, I came pretty damn close-I was wrong on 2 games (So far).

As much as I'd love to laugh at the Browns' struggles, the truth is that only a few seasons ago (2002, I believe) my Bengals went 2-14...last year they went 11-5 and made the playoffs...now they're Super Bowl contenders. Righty, cheer up...the Browns' time will come. The Browns are 0-2.

As for my Broncos, well it wasn't pretty a 9-6 victory over KC.. First time ever that neither team scored a touchdown against each other. Our defense is looking really good! Our offense on the other hand did absolutly nada!! Thank god for Jason Elam!! Our lack of offensive production has me REALLY concerned as next week we have a Sunday Night Football game against the Patriots...in New England!!
Meinwhile, Tarl's San Diego Chargers trounced the Titans 40-7 yesterday!! WTF was I thinking in picking Tennessee???!! Tarl, I'm not quite ready to give up the fight for the AFC West yet!! lol
Champs and Chumps for Week 2:
Champs: New Orleans Saints-- Very impressed with how Drew Brees is leading that team and were able to steal a win from Green Bay (who played a lot better this week) at Lambeau.
New York Giants - that come-from-behind victory over the Eagles (sorry Johnboy!!) by Eli and the Geeee Men! was incredible.
Chumps: Tampa Bay-- WTF is going on with the Bucs?? That's two weeks now of pitiful offense from a team that I expected to be very good this year!!
Miami- What a dissappointing way from the Dolphins to try and bounce back from their opening loss to Pittsburgh!
Oakland- well they are always gonna be Chumps in my eyes, but when your first two offensive snaps in the game get botched and the ball gets turned over to the Ravens, what can you expect??
