Chump: Cleveland Browns-No excuse getting in a shootout with Oakland of all teams. San Francisco 49ers-I can NEVER get this team right-jerks.
MVP: Donovan McNabb-18 for 30 is not great, but he put this team on his shoulders and got the win, also threw for 2 TD's and rushed for 2 TD's as well.

Chump for Week 4: Albert Haynesworth of the Tennessee Titans.. 5 game suspension is WAY too light of a punishment in my opinion for what this jerk did!!

Oh well, missing out on all of the local TO "news" just might make up for it.

We play Baltimore tonight, but unfortunately I have orchestra rehearsal and so I'll miss the game, damnit!! But I'll be decked out in my Broncos jersey rooting them on just the same!
My champ for this week has to be Reggie Bush!! Awesome return for a touchdown against the Bucs.. Also gotta give a shout out to Tennessee for ALMOST beating the Indianapolis Colts. But you know what Peyton Manning does for his team!!
My chumps this week: The New York Jets.. got their kicked big time by Jacksonville 41-0!!! Chad Pennington, 3 INT's WTF??? also gotta acknowledge those woefully Raiders.. They actually made a game of it but ended up losing to the San Francisco 49ers! No wonder Randy Moss and half of the Raiders team have stopped caring about football!! Oakland should be a piece of cake for the Broncos next Sunday night!!

I sure hope my Bengals can rebound and beat the Bucs this week!
I just checked out your picks from last week, way to go! 13 out of 14, VERY impressive!
Champ: Philadelphia Eagles. Thank you for stopping the massive media TOorgasm that had been in developement all week. I thought it would be a rough year for them and they just step up, kick @$$ and take names.
Chump: Pittsburgh Steelers. 1-3 start, tough schedule and it just seems Big Ben is not physiscally better from his off season injuries. I expected so much more out of these guys. At least they are not Oakland.
MVP: Who else but Donovan McNabb? Unlike TO, he showed up and did not whine or yell at the assistant coaches, and more importantly, won with class.

Thanks hcmv007...maybe 5 more of those and I'll be able to catch you
You might this week. You know there are only 13 games this week and next week. People paid for the NFL Sunday Ticket and are NOT getting their money's worth!!!
Give me a full schedule any day, 14 games at the least. And the Open dates need to come later in the season, not in week 3 when no body needs them, but should end around week 11, IMO.

Looking forward to my Broncos taking on the Raiders on Sunday Night Football this week! Gotta be cautious though, it could be a trap game, so I'm not taking the Raiders for granted.

Drew Bree's Saints are 5-1, what a story.

SD won: 48-19 we're 4-1...

Yeah, and I for one am sick and tired of all the bitching about the Saints not beating a good team. They beat Atlanta and yesterday a VERY good Philadelphia team.
WHO DAT? WHO DAT? WHO DAT TALKIN ABOUT BEATING DEM SAINTS?

Yay! Broncos are 4-1 as well Tarl! Although I'm still concerned about our offense.. We should have blown out those pathetic Raiders last night, but Shanahan got too conservative with the play calling (a little bit of Marty-ball perhaps?) We have Cleveland next week and then Indianapolis. We have got to do better than 13 points a game if we want any shot at beating the Colts.

Poor Matt Lienart! He deserved a win. What a great player...a rookie and he lookks like he's been around 5 years.Raiders are idiots for not taking him...Lions too.

Champ: New Orleans Saints. It looked like the Aints of old were coming back, but they put it all out on the line to beat a very good Philly team.
Chump: Arizona Cardinals-what a choke job. Referee in Cincy-Tampa Bay game-so I guess we are just to hug the QB down to the ground now?

Yeah haha, of course I agree that call was terrible. However, we let them stay in it the whole game so we deserved to lose.Referee in Cincy-Tampa Bay game-so I guess we are just to hug the QB down to the ground now?

Arizona..can anyone say CHOKE??!! What the hell??!!! Leinart played very well, but despite that the poor Cardinals have got to be heartbroken after that upset last night by Da Bears!! Boy, Dennis Green was REALLY ticked off at has press conference after the game. I've never seen him get that mad!!!
The Cardinals have been a losing franchise for the last generation I believe; they are better than their record indicates. They just have to learn to nail the coffin down when they get leads like that.
Surround Leinhart with more talent (offensive linemen) and this team might make some noise in the near future...might.

Yeah, they need an O-Line in Arizona, but they are in year 84 of rebuilding that franchise-that dates back to when they were in Chicago (!).
My picks are in!

How to wreck a brilliant young career, alienate adoring fans and teammates and severly hurt your team in the middle of a solid 4-2 start(losing 2 against tough teams on the road is acceptable).

Sources: Chargers' Merriman suspended for steroids.

Good news: he's fighting the suspension and says it's a mistake and he will play sunday.
But Shawn Philips and Igor are still out for 4 weeks.

Champs: Gotta go with Tampa Bay shocking the Philadelphia Eagles... Way to go, Ronde Barber with your two INT's (at least this Barber won't be retiring at the end of the season!) Big props go to Eli Manning and the Giants for beating the Cowboys last night..(so who will be the QB for Dallas next week?? Bledsoe or Romo?? )
Chumps: Gotta be those pathetic Cardinals losing to the lowly Raiders. Denny Green's job has got to be on the line.. if they lose to the Packers next week, he'll be gone.. no doubt in my mind. Such a shame as I had high hopes for them this year.
The two Super Bowl teams from last year are in serious trouble!! Both have major QB injuries.. Hasselbeck is out for three weeks with a injured knee (and no Bobby Engram or Shaun Alexander) they are treading on thin ice.. as for Pittsburgh, they lose again.. this time to Atlanta and Ben Roethlisberger gets a concussion. Now Charlie Batch is a capable backup, but with out Big Ben and Joey Porter who is injured, I just can't see this team even making the playoffs this year!!
