I now withdraw the Seahawks from reaching the SB. Too many vets out- Shawn, Matt, Bobby. Loss of Hutchinson too to the Vikings. :P

I now replace the Seahawks with the Chicago Bears for the NFC reaching the SB. They're looking very good so far! :)

Champ: Kansas City Chiefs. They got out to a big lead, the Chargers came back, and they won at the end with a FG. Bastards cost me a game, man!

Chump: Arizona Cardinals. I had a premonition on Sunday Morning around 9:00 that the Cards would lose to Oakland, and could not get to a computer. Do they suck or what? You lose to Oakland??!!

MVP: Matt Bryant, K for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mad props to a guy that boots a 62 yd FG to win the game against Philly.

Broncos lost a heartbreaker yesterday to Peyton Manning and those damn Indianapolis Colts, 34-31!! :P Manning is unstoppable and one hell of QB.. plus he is a very humble and nice guy.. He is not one to brag and be cocky about the win..instead he gives Denver a lot of credit in playing a great game, which i really admire about him!.. Oh well, next week the Patriots have their shot at ending Indy's unbeaten streak. Kinda funny about our three teams: Denver, New England and Indy: we all have each other's number in some sort of wierd triangle: Denver always loses to the Colts, The Patriots always lose to Denver and Indy always loses to New England!! :) On the plus side of yesterdays game, our offense came out and looked great!! Plummer played pretty well and Mike Bell was unbelievable running the football against the sub-par Indianapolis run defense!!

In other news, what the hell is wrong with the defending Super Bowl champion Steelers??!! Losing to the Oakland Raiders 20-13!!! [censored]

Philadelphia losing to Jacksonvile?? WTF is happening with your Eagles, Johnboy?? lol :)

New Orleans got upset by Baltimore: tough luck, hcmv.. The Saints did put up some points at the end, but unfortunate a little too late for them to pull off a victory.

Nice job with your San Diego Chargers, Tarl!! Now I'm starting to get worried about them when Denver meets up with them in November!! :P

Champs-Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts. Both played like they were the best teams in the NFL.

Chumps-Pittsburgh Steelers. Losing to Oakland, who had less than 100 yds of total offense? WTF? Also to the ref who blew the call in that Jets-Browns game. WORST CALL EVER.

MVP: Who else but Tom Brady? What a game he had on Monday night!

The Bengals are looking very.......average. :)

On the bright side, it looks like theres an interesting 3-way race in the pick'em league.

My reign of terror is over, for now on the Pick Em League-Congrats, Ricmond Spy-you lead me by a game!

Since the Mon Night Game is a crapfest, here's my segment:

Champ: Miami Dolphins. They beat the hell out of Da Bears, and made them look like the team at 2-6.

Chump: Bill Bellichek. How do you beat the Colts? You riun it down their throat, just like the Chargers did last year. That was a terrible offensive game plan.

MVP: Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints. Back to back games over 300 yds passing, and made the Saints prove last week's game was a fluke.

YES!! Revenge is SWEET!! Denver clobbered Pittsburgh 31-20 yesterday, as payback for the AFC Championship game last year. True, The Steelers out gained us in terms of offensive yardage, but six turnovers just killed them!! :) The Steelers ain't going to the post season this year!! To quote Jim Mora Sr when he coached Indy a few years ago, " Playoffs??!! Don't talk about playoffs!! Are you kidding me??!! I just hope we can win a game!!! "

Bad week for me in the Pick Em League, but I am still in the running. Fortunately, as a football fan, a lot of the games were good, especially in the College Realm.

It looks like the Cardinals will be on the way to getting the #1 pick in the draft, they really look bad! What the hell was I thinking when i thought they might be a contender? Detroit-they still suck. My Thanksgiving Dinner does not sit well having to watch those losers every Thanksgiving, now if my local cable company gets the NFL Network, maybe it won't be so bad.

How bout them Bengals? :P

I guess thats why they play two halves?

Heres to hopes for a 2nd half of the season rebound! :)

4-5 may be worse than what I expected, but it sure beats the way below .500 years we had not long ago. My memory isn't short...I'm grateful to still be in contention in mid-November.

As for Pick'em, it looks like a 3 horse race down to the wire...

You weren't the only one thinking that the Cardinals would be a legitimate playoff team this year, hcmv!! I sadly fear Dennis Green's job is on the line.. Well my Broncos looked terrible yesterday against the pathetic Raiders!! 3 INT's for Plummer, virtually no running game and yet we still won, thanks to the two crucial Oakland turnovers!! :P We gotta get things together in a hurry as next Sunday night, Tarl_Cabot's Chargers and my Broncos square off in Round 1 for the battle of the AFC West leader spot!! :) :P

Another Broncos fan here to join this party. Yeah, I'm glad we started out 7-2, it should be 8-1, we had the Colts. I really like our chances with the Chargers this year. In the last 10 games we are 8-2, with a season sweep last season, when supposedly they were going to take over the division. I expect all the experts to pick SD to win, but Denver will end up winning Sunday. We don't need the national coverage, we just win games.

Go Broncos!

To interject College Football for a second--the legendary Michigan coach Bo Schembechler has just died on the eve on the giant Michigan/Ohio State football game. Sad but somehow fitting. He'll overshadow the game somewhat and may inspire Michigan. This gives him a huge stage for those to say goodbye to him.

Back to the NFL--damn my Steelers aren't doing it this year. You can't win every year! I'm not totally giving up yet.

No truth to the rumors that U2 and Green Day are teaming up to do a new song together called "The Saints are choking!" Well, they are choking. Big Time.

It seems I might have been lucky picking Dallas over Indy.

Donovan McNabb is out for the year, damn. I see Philly losing out again, sorry johnboy.

Brett Favre should NOT start on Mon. Let Rogers start.

[censored]!!! Broncos lost a heartbreaker at home last night to San Diego, after blowing a 24-7 [censored]ing lead!!! :P :) Plummer looked mediocre, its seriously time to consider putting in Jay Cutler, (though its too much of a rush to try and get him in for this thursday's Thanksgiving game at Kansas City). Overall an exciting game last night, but still very disappointing for me! :P

I still say Peyton'll play in the Super Bowl.
