* clap, clap* Let's go Seahawks! Lets go! *clap, clap* *ducks flying rocks and stuff thrown from Gabe Vieria!! * Sorry Gabe, while in a small way it would be nice to see your Steelers win, I'm still smarting from the AFC Championship debacle!! lol  So out of principle, I'm pulling for Seattle.

Just to let you know, if we had lost that game, I would have been rooting for the Broncos. It's a shame that we had to play them, 'cause I would have really liked to see the Broncos make it all the way. I'll admit that a Broncos vs. Seahawks Super Bowl would have been a more interesting than Steelers vs. Seahawks.

But the Steelers DID beat you guys, so for the time being, just keep a look out for "flying rocks and stuff". :D

Hmmmmmmm........even if I wasn't a Steeler fan I would think the Steelers with the Bus, Big Ben, the team's history and national following make them more interesting in the Super Bowl than Denver. Sorry, Dove.

I'll ignore that comment about Jake Plummer, Tarl!! lol.. Don't make me bring up a certain former San Diego QB who wore #16 and was right behind Peyton Manning in the '98 draft!! lol.. :D

I seem to remember Jerome Bettis pulling for the Broncos to win the Super Bowl when they beat the Steelers in Super Bowl XXII.

I hate having two weeks in between the games. One week only please.

Oh, not to be a downer, but there is a labor dispute. We'll have a clearer picture sometime in March. Please no strike!

Then simians will come flying out of everyone's backsides if that happens!

Anybody want to take a bet as to whether Porter or Stephens gets knocked out of the game first? You know somebody out there has odds on it!

Actually, hcmv007, it was Green Bay that Denver beat in Super Bowl XXXII.!
Oh and I'm predicting a score of Seattle 34 to Pittsburgh 17 for Sunday's game!

Just doing a little math here. Out of everyone who submitted scores for the Super Bowl, it looks as though CBn favours the Pittsburgh Steelers 1.4 points above the Seattle Seahawks (I averaged the scores for each team).

Now that is a close game.

Porter is going to run into Walter Jones, who will roll right over the top of him. He will be carried off the field by The Bus.

Yeah, massive brain  there-just turn to the What are you blaming Daniel Craig forum to see why I am so out of it today.

I have a sneaking suspicion about OT for this game.

So Red Barchetta hs Porter going out first. Actually, I have both of them taking each other out. Stephens will make a catch and he and Porter hit each other so hard, they both get knocked out.

Injury note-Troy Polamaulu is probable for the big game with a 'tweaked' ankle

Gotta love or hate those cliches!! The one that drives me absolutly crazy, but is very true, is when players and coaches say " We gotta take it one game at a time! "

That's not so bad. At least there is a purposeful articulation with that one.

Walter Jones (who pushes a full size pickup up and down his street during Spring Training with the brake on)will knock out Porter before he gets to Stevens!

Actually, it'll be interesting to see how many times they match up together.

My personal fav- "we need to play between the lines."

I have a feeling it will be Pittsburgh by 10, especially if Holmgren offers them a concessionary touchdown a-la Packers vs. Broncos.

Well, the Pittsburgh Steelers are up 7 to 3 at Halftime. Speaking of which, the Stones are giving a less-than-stellar performance. The one last year, or the year before, I can't remember, with Paul McCartney was great.

Here we go Stillers!
