I've never seen the first season of 24 and want to order it from Amazon. But...I notice they're advertising a "Slim Pack" edition. What exactly does that mean? Instead of slipcases for each disc or two, does this refer to the hideous practice of packing 6 discs in one casing? Or is anything missing that I should know about?

Something new I noticed: Batman's cowl is really more purple than blue.
I wish we could get the entire '60s live action series out next. That's now the holy grail of TV shows on DVD.

Unfortunately, we won't be seeing it on DVD for a long time, due to copyright issues. Also, the most recent movies i bought on DVD were the two Derek Flint movies: Our Man Flint and In Like Flint. I've only watched half of the first one, but i really like it.I wish we could get the entire '60s live action series out next. That's now the holy grail of TV shows on DVD.

I had to get this nice slow burn thriller that is very reminiscent of the political thrillers of the 70's as well as some film noir's. The only thing strange was when I played the digital copy of the film in iTunes it had a different aspect ratio compared to the theatrical aspect ratio on the Blu-ray/DVD. I assume since Campbell shot the movie in Super 35 the digital copy was not cropped but had more visual info at the top and bottom. Still is strange though.
