Never Sleep Again:The Elm Street Legacy

A superb 4 hour documentary that covers everything from the 1984 original to Freddy vs. Jason.(Including the short lived tv show.) Has interviews with everyone of the actors, producers, directors, etc from each film. -Depp & Arquette. It details the making of each film, etc. The second disc has about two hours of special features including the artist behind the posters for the films,a look at the composers for each film,Freddy history outside of film(Books, comics, etc) & even a feature on people who make Freddy gloves & more. If you're a Freddy fan or a horror fan in general this is a must buy!

4 out of 4 stars

The Italian Job: 40th Anniverary Edition Blu-ray
I've always had a place in my heart for the original film and find it highly entertaining compared to the Americanized flat remake.

Dr. Strangelove Blu-ray
I finally got the Blu-ray of Dr. Strangelove which I found out is the only way to see the film in its orginal uncut form due to the original negative not existing anymore ie some lines in previous DVD versions that were inaudible are now clearly heard. Great release for a great Kubrick film.

The Wizard of Oz Emerald Edition Blu-ray

You really should.
It's a great dvd.

It's only avaiable online. You can find it on places like Amazon or it's own site.

http://www.elmstreetlegacy.com/

I believe it's about $24.00 on the site but you can find it cheaper on Amazon which is where I got my copy for $15.00

Bringing out The Dead. Haven't seen it before but I bought it for three reasons:

1. It was going cheap on HMV online
2. I generally love Scorsese flicks
3. I've read really good reviews of it

Amazing video quality for a DVD.

Chuck: The Complete Second Season Blu-ray
Finally got my hands on the Blu-ray of what has become on of my favorite shows right now, up their with The X-files and Lost. For around $29 it was a steal.

CASTLE: The Complete Second Season (DVD)

Would have been nice if ABC had made this available on Blu-ray, but High-Def or not, this is the best show on TV right now.

20 World War II Movies

One of those compilations that you see in the bargain bin, with movies you've never heard of. But it was used, and on sale, and I have the discount card, so it cost me all of $2.66.

Chuck Seasons 1-3 Blu-ray
Charade Blu-ray
Paths of Glory Blu-ray
The Bridge on the River Kwai Blu-ray
The Sound of Music Blu-ray

Finally was able to get Chuck since its one of my favorites but was quite suprised that the video quality looks really good despite getting critically slamed by critics for its poor video quality which is ridiculous since even Season 2 looks better than the NBC's HD broadcast of Season 4. Got Charade and Paths of Glory from Barnes and Noble's semiannual Criterion 50% off sale which I had been waiting for to get these titles. I do have to mention the video and audio quality of The Sound of Music which was amazing to experience and is not too surprising since it was shot in 65mm.
