I'm hooked on DVD. I admit it, so my question is what's the last disc you bought? Or that could be discs. Last ones I picked up were Full Metal Jacket, Bitter Moon and the Buffy season 1 set. Season 2's next.

Bought the KOYAANISQATSI/POWAQQATSI doublepack (KOYAANISQATSI is superb, IMO, but POWAQQATSI just so-so) and RAGING BULL at the same time last week.

The first DVD I ever bought was HEAT (the De Niro/Pacino masterpiece, not the Andy Warhol flick or the 1987 Burt Reynolds outing).

Mine was Die Another Day, but I'm planning to get both Family Guy sets, Matrix, and possibly Mommie Dearest. I like the camp value. :)

Well, it's a real eyeful. KOYAANISQATSI, at least.:)

I'm glad it was on the shelf and I didn't have to ask a sales assistant for it.:)

Pulp Fiction Collector's Edition, for a steal at $19.99. Actually, I think the DVD was priced wrong, because I saw it the next week for $39.99 at the same store. I'll be picking up Monty Pyhton and the Holy Grail Special Edition tomorrow as an end of the year gift to myself. Yes, I'm a peculiar person.

I just picked up RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART II, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I haven't really been into DVDs too much lately - I just picked up TIMESPLITTERS 2 and EVIL DEAD: FISTFUL OF BOOMSTICK for PS2.

I've a question or two. Is "spirited away" worth renting AND does "Lawrence of Arabia" get exciting at all after Lawrence and the 50 men takeoff through the "worst place God created". because when I read that it won 7 academy awards... i rented it, but i couldnt finish it.

I'm quite fond of Lawrence of Arabia, I thought it was quite an achievement in cinema and a great flick. I'm interested in seeing the seqeul, Lawrence After Arabia but haven't got around to it yet.

I bought a few DVDs in my last purchase. I picked up Manchild (brilliant BBC series), Rebel Without A Cause, and North By Northwest.
