Yeah, Felix MUST return, post-LTK, obviously, it would be very confusing if we affect the continuity of the Bond films...

My pick: Keanu Reeves. He can play Felix Leiter in Casino Royale. I always see Felix as a friendly, suit/tuxedo wearing CIA agent who has a soft personality. And i see that in Keanu. He is soft(Sweet November, Something's Gotta Give), he wears tuxedos & suits(The Matrix, Constantine, The Devil's Advocate), and he is friendly(Parenthood, Sweet November, Constantine). That's why Keanu Reeves should be Felix Leiter. So, what do you guys think?

never in a million years wil Damon ever be in a bond flick. EON would never have Bonds current box office nemesis alongside him. This couldve worked against Clive Owens chances of landin the bond role because he was knocked off by Bourne in the first film and would lose all the Bond vs Bourne debates.

I'd love to see a James Bond/Felix Leiter match-up like we got in Dr. No, in which we had Sean Connery and Jack Lord. I'd really want two guys who were about the same age that I could believe could become fast friends and colleagues -- both cool, but of course with Bond having the edge in terms of charisma, looks, charm, etc. Unfortunately, since this is a reboot, I imagine EON would be even more careful than they were in past films about making sure that Leiter didn't even come close to stealing the limelight from the new James Bond. Still, I don't want an older guy like in Goldfinger or some Jack Wade/Damian Falco version of Leiter. Maybe more like Leiter was in Thunderball.

My vote would go for someone like Josh Holloway from Lost, but I doubt that would happen. With all due respect to Daniel Craig, Felix Leiter can't be a bigger babe magnet than Bond!

Tate Donovan - Has the looks, but i'm not sure about his acting though, since i've only seen him in the OC

Owen Wilson - I don't know why, but he has something that makes him a Felix Leiter

David Hayter - He has the looks, the voice, and Solid Snake's movement is the same as David Hayter's, so i'd say yes.

Matt Dillon - He played a stalker/private investigator in there's something about mary and also did a good performance in Crash. Definitely Haggis's choice and mine too.

Eric Bana - He'll play a Mossad agent in Munich with Craig, so definately a good combination

Ben Affleck - He's only good in two roles: Comedy & action, and he also played CIA agent Jack Ryan, so definately a yes

Harrison Ford - A good choice during the Dalton era actually. Sadly, he's old, but he should play Felix in LTK

Ben Stiller - Not sure, but there's something that make me feel that he's Felix that i don't know how to explain it.

I was thinking about this guy today as a contender for Felix. I don't think he'd be bad. I also think Aaron Eckhart and Joel Gretsch would be good choices.

...if they get someone to play Leiter. I wouldn't be oppose to rebooting Leiter back to pre-something-that-ate-him.

okay this may be a stretch for some of you but how about Omar Epps? He's a really cool actor and he was pretty suave looking in Alfie! I understand he ins't exactly white, but neiter was Bernie Casey, and truth be told regaurdless of NSNA being "official" or not, he did a fine job with Felix!

I agree. Omar Epps, from "House, M.D." would be a good choice if you want Bond to get an afro-american sidekick.
