Felix Leiter appeared in Casino Royale so we have a good chance of seeing him in the uncoming film. Do you think he'll be pre-Licence To Kill or post-Licence To Kill? Who do you want to play him?

Yes, absolutely. Repeating villians and characters but with far different plots worked well with the early movies.

I would absolutely welcome the return of Felix.

As for Jack Wade - NO! I don't care much for Michael Madsen's Falco either. He didn't do much but act as a bureaucrat talking trash to M in DAD, and he doesn't fit the mode that you may have looked forward to his return like Gogol in the Moore pictures. So why in the world would anybody want or need him back?

Are you sure Valentin Zukovsky is still alive? I thought he died in TWINE.

Let me guess... he's not dead, but merely sleeping?

As fot Felix: he should come back!!! But not in a too big role.
Zuckovsky: Getting shot doesn't mean you die. He's a great character. Somebody that can get everything arranged for Bond. In a much cooler (and more illegal) way than Wade.

Bring them Both Back!

Wouldn't it have been nice if Bond20 had a plot in wich a lot of characters came back? Such as Felix and Gogol... any others...?

How about this? In the opening of the movie, they show James' mission where he gives Zuckovsky his limp?

That's a good idea. According to TWINE's novel, Zukovsky is dead. But, we never know what could happen on screen.
Felix Leiter should return for Bond 21. I missed him in many Roger Moore films and I am missing him now in Brosnan's films too.

I think Felix should return, it could be a step into bringing back the old Bondfilm stile again. He could return in an weelshare and still be much better then the new contact, Jack Wade, bond has been given.

I believe Felix should most definitely return. Your right DB5, it would bring the back the old style again and thats what Bond 21 needs.

I think that Felix Leiter should only return if they cast a good actor and if the character was well written, and they intended to use the same actor for multiple films. I am not too keen on having yet another actor portraying a forgetable role. We've had so many Felix Leiters over the years, but the only one that most people find memorable is David Hedison. Unfortunately, David is a little too old to play opposite Pierce Brosnan.

It would be awkward though, if they were to keep up continuity, Leiter would have to his artificial limbs. I'm not sure i'd like to see someone who was so cool in the past just hobble around the movie, it would be derpressing, however if they don't, i'm all for, the question is, who would play him? For the people who want Clooney as bond, perhaps Clooney as Leiter, imo.

Felix Leiter was in a wheel chair in Raymond Benson's The Facts Of Death and he was still useful. I was just thinking about Clooney playing Leiter today. He would be a great choice but he could turn out to be another Jinx.

Yes, but the thing about TFOD, was he was hollerin like a cowboy,"yeehawin" which he really isn't. I fear it'd turn out the people laughing at him, if he pulled anything like this, and i wouldn't that to ruin Leiter as a character. I think if Leiter were to have been a spin off. They'd have done it before he was eaten by a shark.

It would be great fun to see him again, although they would need a great actor for the part. Yes, I hope he returns!

True, but they could and probably would change it around. (they never were much into continuity with Felix Leiter.) :)

Still I can't imagine him being welcomed back to the CIA since his disability occurred as a result of his work with the DEA!

I think Jason Statham could be a good Felix, only if he could get rid of the brittish accent. Actors like George Clooney would probably be to expensive for souch a small part. You have already heard that great actors like Russel Crowe would be to expensive to cast as James Bond. So the chanse of Eon to spend souch great deal of money for just a small part like Felix Leiter is probably pretty little.

However, it would be good to have that continuity for the series. Leiter's appeared w/every Bond actor- save Lazenby and Brosnan. I think it would be great to have the character back for Brosnan's final outing. Having Leiter back would almost compensate for the underwhelming Falco and the buffoonish Wade in TND.

As for the disability issue. Hell, if we can have cloaked Aston Martin's, we can certainly develop sophisticated prosthetic limbs for Leiter to wear.

Suggesting Robert Patrick for the role would be great. He'd almost bring back that Jack Lord vibe in DR. NO.

I do agree, I think Robert Patrick would be great. He has the same style as the Felix leiter character has.

Another decent candidate , if they decide to bring the character back would be David Caruso from CSI Miami or David Morse from Hatch.
