Welcome Odd Job. Great henchman BTW. Both in the Film and Novel.
Thanks Agent Carter. It's interesting to remember that in the novel, it was Odd Job, not Goldfinger that got sucked out the plane's window. I can't quite remember how Goldfinger died in the end, it's been years since I read the book.
Regards
Odd Job

Greetings to all , just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Andy. I'm 37. I live in the US. I've been a Bond fan my entire life. Roger Moore is my all time favorite 007(with Daniel Craig running a close second). This is a great site. I look forward to chatting about everything Bond with you all.

I am a fairly recent convert to Bond fandom, but here's a bit about me:
1.) First Bond Film: Moonraker. I think I'm one of the only people who thinks this is a good film, but it's the one I remember most as a kid.
2.) Favorite Bond: (in order of preference)
1. Daniel Craig
2. Shawn Connery
3. Roger Moore
4. Timothy Dalton
5. George Lazenby
6. Pierce Brosnan
3.) Novels read (so far): Casino Royale, License Renewed, For Special Services (currently reading); also own 2-3 other Fleming and 1 Benson novel still to be read.
4.) Favorite Bond Car: the classic Aston Martin DB5 (Film); "The Silver Beast" (Novel)
5.) Favorite Bond Girl: Vesper Lynd (in the books and movie.) She seems to be Bond's equal, and is not the damsel in distress that a lot of them are.
I look forward to meeting you all and posting more in the future!

I have been a Bond fan ever since I saw Goldeneye when I was 11. Prior to that the only other Bond film I watched was The Living Daylights (but back then I was too young to really understand what was going on).
My favorite 007 is Sean Connery, He is the first and the best! But Daniel Craig has shown me serious potential to close the gap on Connery. Hopefully future movies can stay on par with Casino Royale.
My top 10 Bond Films:
1. Goldfinger
2. Casino Royale
3. From Russia With Love
4. Goldeneye
5. Thunderball
6. Dr. No
7. You Only Live Twice
8. The Living Daylights
9. Live and Let Die
10. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
My favorite bond girl(s):
Looks: Claudine Auger (Domino)
Character: Famke Janssen (Xenia Onatopp)
Well I look forward to "talking Bond" with everyone here, Happy posting everybody!

And Slazenger Seven sounds lethal - despite the golf ball origins! WELCOME!!No, screennames based on obscurities are some of the best, IMO.

I've been coming to this site since around the time Casino Royale first came out. I finally decided to sign up here. I've been a fan of James Bond since I was a kid. I can remember watching Bond movies a lot on Sunday nights with my dad when I was growing up. Roger Moore was making the 007 movies theatrically by the time I started watching Bond, but it was the Sean Connery ones I saw on television that I enjoyed the most. During those years, my brother and I, we still do today, debated over who was the better Bond....Roger Moore or Sean Connery. I liked Connery the best, while he liked Moore. We have a much younger sister who never really cared for Bond as a teenager. I got her to go with me to see Casino Royale. She loved it a lot. Since then she's starting going back and seeing the other 007 movies. So far she's seen the Brosnan and Dalton ones.
Like I said my favorite Bond still remains Sean Connery. My other favorite two are Daniel Craig and Timothy Dalton. Craig blew me away with his performance in Casino Royale. I was an early fan of his for the job. I had seen him in Layer Cake (loved that movie), as well as some other things. He rocked as Bond. I think Timothy Dalton is a seriously underrated Bond. He did such an awesome job. The Living Daylights (also one of my favorite Bond theme songs) is my favorite of his two. It's a shame he didn't do more. After recently rewatching his two movies, I realized I liked him even more now.
My profile up here goes through my favorites in all the Bond categories so I won't rehash that here. It's also got some of my other interests. There's a link to my page on MySpace which I just started. I've been putting some Bond and other spy movies stuff up there.
It's good to be here. I look forward to talking to all of you about Bond and so forth. Talk to you later.
