It was a re-set during the latest CBn re-boot.

Well that was a upgrade for the better.

LOL bond_girl. Yes it is indeed the cowboy's breakfast of champions.

Much like what they call a 'whore's breakfast' in the U.K. -- "cup of tea and a fag." ("fag" = ciggy, not to be misunderstood as a derogatory social slang in the U.S.)

Nope, I'm not a real cowboy. Aviation QC Inspector, of sorts.

Thanks for the 'welcome' ma'am.

Sorry David_Niven. You will find many friends here at CBn. And I do not mean to take up arms against you. But, in my humble opinion, Casino Royale (1967) has always left a bad taste in my mouth. And I drink a lot of bourbon. :)

You don't seem too accepting of other people's tastes. No pun intended. I didn't think it was too great either

Hello. I have posted on here many time recently, but i've been a member before. I couldn't remember my user name so I had to make a new it's almost similar to the old one. Anyway I enjoy tis sight and I love James Bond especially Pierce Brosnan and Roger Moore. I like Sean too but, not as much as those two guys. So cheers to the #1 James Bond sight in my opinion.

Hi everyone

My usernames 'English_Agent' and i joined CBn towards
the end of last Novemeber.

I had known of CommanderBond for a few years, and had scrolled
thru' the forums as a guest, but with the release of CR i decided
to enlist and join in the discussions.

I had joined another forum at the other main Bond site, but i don't
comment there anymore as the forums had become disrupted by CnB'ers.

My first name is 'Steve', i am 48 years old and i live near Cambridge
in England.

I have been a Bond fan since i was taken to see DAF in 1972, and ever
since then have followed the series thru' its changes.

When DC was picked to be the new Bond, and i heard that CR was to be a
more realistic film so to speak, i just knew we were going to be in for
a treat.

As you can see from my posts i am also interested in the business side
of films, hence the boxoffice posts.

My other interests in life, apart from films, are cycling and travelling,
mostly around the Mediterranean area of Europe.
One day i must pop over to the US.

I am still learning to navigate myself around the forums........but so
far i have enjoyed the topic discussions......there are some very
intelligent observations from members.

Bye for now.......

Greeting and salutations, I'm T.L. and I'm from the United States. I'm twenty one and have been a Bond fan for most of my natural life. I stumbled across this forum while doing my usual research on Bond, and needless to say, the allure of posting about the movies, the actors, the books, and miscellaneous is irresistable. I am looking forward to my time here.

Hi, all. Not sure if there's much I can say right now, I'll just say I registered on a whim to see what the community's like around here. I was first introduced to the world of Bond when I played Goldeneye 007, I do think. I enjoy the films but I'd very much like to start reading the books so that I can get a better sense of the character - I recently read Casino Royale in the run-up to the film and it was surprisingly good (the torture scene still haunts me, better than the film's portrayal I think).
