I've been coming here for a long time now, and I finally came to my senses and joined. My favorite movie of all time is "Jaws." Some Bond favorites are "The Living Daylights," "The World Is Not Enough," "Goldfinger," and "The Man With The Golden Gun." I look forward to interacting with you all and having a good time doing so. What could be better than a Bond community? It's a pleasure to meet you all. I'll see you around the forum.

I, too, have loved Jaws since my childhood. Definitely one my favorites of all time. Had such a big impact on me that I came dang close to pursuing icthyology (shark biology) as a career, then chose acting instead. Ha!

I am the opposite. I am close to a career in acting in film, but I think I would rather get a real job, for some reason. As I type this, I realize that sounds ridiculous, but it is frightfully true!

Maybe some know me, I am 006, Founder of WikiBond - The Dutch James Bond Webarchive. I was an young bondfan and saw old Bondmovies many time on tv. Once i saw GoldenEye with Pierce Brosnan and i liked his acting. I couln't see the whole film (bedtime) and i rent it in the videocorner. GoldenEye is also my favorite movie and i think that Pierce Brosnan and Roger Moore are the best. I like also the acting of Famke Janssen (dutch actress) as Xenia Onatopp and Jeroen Krabb

Just a bit about my likes and dislikes of Bond. My preferences are the more straight forward story lines ie FRWL OHMSS & CR. I'm not really a great Roger Moore as Bond fan, I feel his tenure was too light hearted, in saying that LaLD is one of my favourite films, probably as it was the first one I ever saw way back in 1973. Prior to Daniel Craig I felt Timothy Dalton was the better of the actors to play Bond. I realise that Sean Connery is the movies iconic Bond but only thought he made two really good films Dr.No & FRWL. I think George Lanzenby did a good job under the circumstances & Pierce Brosnan just tried to be too cool.
I've read all but one of Flemings books (TSWLM) and I am currently reading the John Gardner novels, which I find rather enjoyable.
Over the years I've collected the corgi cars and a few Sideshow models. I enjoy the odd Martini as described by Fleming. Unfortunately my wife stops me doing many other things that Bond enjoys.

About myself, I am in college studying political science in South Carolina, USA. While I'm on the topic, I'll mention that I'm a dangerous radical in my political pursuasions Well, I guess that depends on your opinion of Ron Paul. My favorite Bond films are TB and CR, with the rest of Sir Sean's pre-TB films coming in close behind (and GE).
Some ways I'm Bond-like is that I enjoy gambling, drinking, good style, and women (and I'll add good cigars). I would hesitate to really compare myself though, as I wouldn't come off that well.
