It is Saturday morning in Vegas. So far the "mission" has been great. Bond Girl #1 and I arrived on Thursday. We are staying at the Bellagio hotel. It is nice but I think slightly over rated. I am furious that the hotel does not have in-room coffee makers :mad:. Even the cheapest of hotels I have stayed in offers this service! :mad:
Thursday evening we saw the show "O" by Cirque de Soleil here at Bellagio. Very nice, but I did not think it was as good as some of their travelling shows like "Dralion" and "Alegria". After the show Bond Girl #1 and I had martinis and cigars.
Friday we went off the Vegas Strip to the downtown area. Here we played poker at Binion's Horseshoe casino. This was low-limit poker for Texas Hold 'Em. With a $100 buy-in, and a self-imposed time limit of one hour, we both finished break-even. A few dollars in the slots put us ahead for the day. Friday evening we viewed the "Showgirls of Magic" at the San Remo hotel. The show was a mixture of comedy and magic. The four girls doing the show are gorgeous, and perform the show topless .
We believe Bryce came in late last night, as the drive from L.A. is about 6 hours, he's bringing the Jag. We should link up with him this evening after the show, and then save the world from the evil ones here in Vegas. Tonigh BG #1 and I will be seeing Jewel at the Aladdin. Jewel is quite good live. I saw her in Los Angeles earlier in the year with BG #2. Jewel was one of the performers for a private concert sponsored by NAMM, the concert was a tribute to Sir Elton John. Great concert with many performers.
More later...

Well I hope those sexy Bond Girls XEN, ATH and JOYCE make their mind's up soon otherwise I'm going to have to take back my recently purchased DB5 to the last owner.
As Roger Moore would say that he does all his own stunts, and all his own lying.
Cheers,
Ian

George Foreman Grill????????
Bondian bought the last DB5 out from under me???????
I'm not sure I want to be in this contest.
I only spent the weekend wearing my tux and staying in a suite in Las Vegas talking shop with fellow operatives while smoking rare Havana cigars and gambling and then chewing up the highways in a 20 year old Jaguar with a wicked Irish girl along for the ride.....
I must be missing something...or I'm a true "relic of the Cold War".

We're all very envious with what you were doing over the weekend. I just had a couple of pc's to sort out whilst Carol cooked a roast Chicken. ( I did inform her that there better bought already dead ).
As for tonight we ordered an Indian Take-Away and had to wait over 2 hours for it. It would of been easier to gone and picked it up. Damn good English service it's called. LOL
Well, I think that we're all hoping that those Bond Girls post the results today. I'm sure were ready for the bad news. But if anyone has got it you have. Lucky ol sod. LOL
Well, the coffee's on, how about it Girls?.
Cheers Bryce,
Ian

LOL!
Now this may be the funniest thing you've every written on CBn, Mr. Bryce. Cheers.
Thank you to the lovely judges. And to my fellow contestants, don't worry, all this proves is that I'm more sadistic, cruel, more filled with more self-loathing, and have many more failed relationships than any of you fine fellows. Yep, I'm James freakin' Bond all right.
Now pardon me while I go check Athena's pulse. That girl does like to sleep. Wait, there's a note by the bed...right next the empty bottle of sleeping pills...

Maybe you should try CPR on Athena;)
Tell you what, if the judges are willing, you keep the title of CBn's literary Bond, and I'll settle for the cinematic Bond.
Sound good?
PS - PM me where I can get one of those damn grills....
Cheers buddy!

Bryce = Brosnan Bond
Zencat = Moore Bond
And we know I love them both equally.
Thanks to Athena and Joyce for making this so much fun!

Sounds fair. But I still say you are Ian Fleming. And that, my friend, is the top of the top.
