Nevertheless, I did find the Berry Nelson role in Casino Royale to be very interesting. I did not know it even existed till I rented the David Niven version which had the Berry Nelson TV version as a bonus material on the DVD. Guess that must have been the first Bond on celluloid.
Well congrats Zencat! [are you sure one of the judges wasn't biased?

Sorry about that Derringer, but there was no Bond left and I was listing by points. I considered David Niven, but I wanted a "serious" Bond. And, actually, I thought Nelson did a pretty good job as "Jimmy Bond."
(And I meant to type Barry, not Berry.

Well thanks for the compliment anyways, and yes he did do a pretty good job. I'm trying to remember what other TV shows & movies I saw Barry Nelson in when I was kid. When I saw him in Casino Royale, it was instant recognition, but I could not remember what else I had seen him in. Surfside 6 perhaps??

...don't worry, all this proves is that I'm more sadistic, cruel, more filled with more self-loathing, and have many more failed relationships than any of you fine fellows. Yep, I'm James freakin' Bond all right.
Now pardon me while I go check Athena's pulse. That girl does like to sleep. Wait, there's a note by the bed...right next the empty bottle of sleeping pills...
| My darling Zencat [the letter opened], I love you with all my heart and while you read these words I hope you still love me because, now with these words, this is the last moment that your love will last. So good-bye, my sweet love, while we still love each other. Good-bye, my darling. I am an agent of MI6.co.uk. Yes, I am a double agent for the rivals. I was taken on some time before Spyfest/BCW6 and I have worked for them ever since. I was in love with James Page. Until you, I still was. I know you've had your encounters with him and know well who he is. Remember the whole MGM ordeal about shut down of all Bond forums? They tried to wreck his pride while drilling him for information and money. In the process they found out about me. They came after me and told me that they wouldn't destroy him if I would play CBn against MI6 and visa-versa. He knew nothing of this. He always wrote me e-mails on the fifteenth of each month... so I found I couldn't stop. I couldn't bear the idea of the fifteenth coming around without his e-mails. It would mean that I had killed him. I tried to give MGM as little as possible. You must believe me about this. Then the time came where I met you at BCW6. I told MI6.co.uk you and other key CBn-ers where there. That's why they sent in those two well-dressed men in time to put the microphones in. They suspected Chris McGurk's assignment, but they didn't know what your assignment was except that it was something to do with James Page. That was all I told them. Then I was told not to stand behind you in the lounge and to see that neither Bryce nor Xenobia did. That was why the gunman was nearly able to shoot you. Then I had to stage that kidnapping. You may have wondered why I was so quiet in the cabin on the Queen Mary. They didn
