009: We're there. We're in Australia.

The BMW Z3 is parked in the middle of nowhere. Everywhere around them is red dust... and sheep poo... It almost reminds Xen of a certain spy movie...

002, deadbeat: Joyce. We're supposed to be on the west COAST, so we can get a BOAT and sail out onto the Indian OCEAN.

009: Oh.

*smiles nervously*

009: Fasten your seatbelt... the coast it is..

CLUE:

003 and oo4 check into the Anchorage Hilton. After a simple inquiry about the cat from oo4, the bellhop tells him that everyone has seen the white cat with the eye-patch, but he doesn't stay at the Hilton. The bellhop goes on to say that the cat has been seen around town for almost a year now.

111 arrives in Florida to wait for 'REX'. He is sent a message from Robinson to be careful, the Chilean Salmon farmers and others helping them are up in arms. They have killed one outsider already claiming he was in league with the devil cat.

*Bryce stretches out on couch in a very luxurious suite decorated in Alaskan and Native American motiefs. 004 opens fresh bottle of Dalwhinnie 15 from his bag and pours two*

Let's see if the bellman can tell us where this cat likes to lurk...I'd also like to check out the nearest library and catch up on any newspaper stories or reports for this furr-ball...

I think the townspeople here must have a nut loose. A cat with an eyepatch has been seen about the place for over a year and they make it sound as ordinary as....

004 downs his drink and pours anohter.

I don't think we should believe anyone. We need to listen very carefully to see what few pieces of their tall tales jive together.

*004 goes to table that is strewn about with weapons and ammunition and check each piece for readiness.*

003 and 004 "suit up" and head out into town.

111 is soon joined by Rex.

Rex seemed eager to participate in this mission. apperantly he has been fully breifed. 111 informs him of the memo from Robinson

Rex: "Excellent. This means perhaps the townspeople could help us."

111: "I wouldn't hold my breath."

Rex: "oh, shoot, I have to make a call, please excuse me." he seemed very nerves about it, he grabs his cell and ducks in the rest room, or a labratory as they call it

111 is curious, so he goes to the door and puts his ear on it

"....yes.....then you have the others?.....you will?....okay, so you are going to get those 4....and the last one?....up to me?.....okay, I'll get this one personally......."

111 shoos his head back, eyes wide

111 waits outside. Soon Rex comes out. They get into the car and drive to the hotel. There was little conversation the whole trip.

111: When we get to the hotel we have to get a map of the region, and form a plan.

Rex: Right.

The planning begins. They decide to question a few of the locals before setting out to the farms.

CLUE:

Inside the Twisted Baloon, 003 is approached by a beautiful young Inuit woman who asks him for a light. After obliging her, she introduces herself as Asiaq. 003 notices she has a tatoo of a cat on her shoulder.

Mr. Clue...can you please tell us how Asiaq's name would be pronounced?

*Bryce smiles lighting her cigarette and manages his best poker face with regards to her tattoo*

A: Thank you. What brings you to Alaska?...Mister...?"

*THE moment*

003: The name's Bryce...John Bryce. I'm looking for a lost cat....For a friend.

*003 casually shifts his pint of Alaskan Pilsner to his left hand. 004 takes note from down the bar and scans the doors and the crowd*

*Xen gets back to car*

002: I've found someone who'll take us out there.

009: Great.

*They get their stuff from the car and head over to a small boat, docked in the harbour. It looks quite reliable - however, when they get in, it starts to sink.*

009: Why don't you let me pick a boat?

CLUE:

Asiaq snuggles in closer to 003 and ask what kind of cat he is looking for. She explains that she is a cat lover and would be happy to assist Mr. Bryce with finding his lost cat. She winks. Lifting her leg and rubbing her outer thigh against his, she asks where they should start.

oo4 observes the darkly lit pub. A nautical motif is prevalent. There are about twenty people are in the pub including himself, 003, the Inuit girl (the only female), and the bartender. The rest mostly seem to be fishermen in for a drink with the exception of a pair of businessmen in a corner booth who seem to be waiting for a meal.

*Bryce realizes that while he's got charm, he's never this lucky this quick. Casually he takes out his cigarette case and extracts one and taps it FOUR times on the case before lighting it*

003: Very pretty name Asiaq. You're quite kind to help me out. As I'm the proverbial "stranger in a strange land", where would you suggest we start? I haven't been in Anchorage for years.

*004 keeps watch and sips his brew. 003 discreetly activates homing device on one of the three pens he's carrying as he replaces cigarette case in his inside jacket pocket*

[Mr. Clue]

CLUE:

With a whisper in 003's ear, Asiaq suggests her place.

*finishes his brew and settles with the bartender*

003: Lead on my dear. I trust it's someplace...close. Did I mention the cat has only one eye? I would think that would narrow down the field a bit.

*notices how truly gorgeous this girl is. Barely perceptable nod to 004 as both walk past him and out the door*

[Mr. Clue]

CLUE:

Asiaq tells 003 that her place is very close. It is only about 20 miles. She walks 003 to a white 1975 Toyota Landcruiser in seemingly mint condition. She hands him the keys and a tells him she would like him to drive, and that she would give him directions.

oo4 receives the menu from the bartender; a standard pub menu, heavy on seafood. oo4 notes that the business men are attempting to secretly pay attention to him as he does the same to them.

CLUE:

111 and Rex attempt to question some of the salmon farmers, but are looked at suspiciously and turned away. A local man tells them they will get no answers from the farmers, because they fear that outsiders may be in league with El Gatedestructo. They are also told that the farmers have set up traps to catch the demon cat.

The Indian Ocean is really big.

004, tipping up and finishing his drink, looks over the room.

He orders anohter drink, turning to the bartender and without being obvious, reaches into his jacket, unsnaps the safty catch on his beretta, checks the silences and in one deft move pulls our cash for the secons ale.

He thanks the bartender and pickup the menu and lightly staggers across the room toward the two businessmen and sits at a table, making no eye contact with either of them.

Keeping them in his periferal view. 004 scans the menu and call the bartender over and asks as though her were just a bit tipsy.

What are they having?

CLUE:

One of the businessmen appears to be drinking a beer, the other a cola. They are, almost desperately, trying not to look at oo4.

Does it look like they are packing heat?

What is my distance from them? Any civlilians that might get in the way?

002: I've got them. And like the man said, it's really big. What we need is a very detailed map of the ocean. Ever see Gilligan's Island?

009: What?

002: *sings* "Just sit right back / and you'll hear a tale / a tale of a fateful trip."

*Joyce gives Xenobia a dirty look*

002: OK. It's a show about seven folks stuck in an island in the Pacific because it is, for the most part, uncharted. What we need is a Gilligan's Island worthy map, that shows us EVERYTHING going on the Indian Ocean. Know where we can find one?

009: Let's get my laptop set up. One of our friends has got to have a 3-D map going...

002: All islands, all undersea cliffs, reefs...

009: And fault lines....

002: That can trigger other fault lines, up and down the ring of fire.

CLUE:

oo4 surveys the situation. He is about 3 metres from the two businessmen. Bud, as he has mentally named the businessman with the beer, appears to be shorter, balding, and is possible wearing a sholder holster. Pepsi, the other business man, is taller, shaggy hair, has no obvious weapon, but view of him is partially obstructed by their table. There are currently two fishermen between oo4 and the businessmen.

004 feins scratching for a second with his opposite hand while he and checks how quickly he cna reach his Beretta. With the Beretta hand, pulls out his ceggerate case pulls of a smoke (regular) and lites it up.

004 is a bit noisy and obvously quite casual about the whole thing. He looks at the fisherman between him and the business men and asks them, a bit loudly "Gentlemen, ows the fishing today?"
