CLUE:

Q-Branch reports that they are sad to say they are unable to get a fix on 003's position. Just before the request came in from 002 duplicate signals to 003's appeared around the World. They are working on tracking the signals on a local basis.

002: Blast!

009: What?

002: I can't find 003's exact location.

009: Oh.

002: It will take some time.

009: Five minutes.

002: No, longer.

009: I mean: We'll reach Alaska in five minutes.

002: Oh.

009: Maybe you should contact G and 004. Let them tell us where to meet them.

*Xenobia checks her palm*

002: Oh geez.

009: Now what?

002: G thinks he has 004 in his car with him.

009: But????

002: If Matt had been driving, and then changed vehicles, his pulse would have reflected that. It's been steady, indicating little to no movement.

*Xenobia sends a text message to G via his watch*

The man in car is not 004. Proceed with high caution. Will rendezvous as fast as we can.

*008 looks at his watch and frowns. He glances over at the Lagonda next to him and scrutinizes the driver. It isn't 004.*

008: Tricky, eh?

*008 radios 002 and 009.*

008: 002, you might want to adjust the settings on the tracking system. It's a tad difficult to switch cars while doing 80 down a highway. Identity confirmed, this man is not 004 but he sure as heck sounds like him. There must be a mole inside MI6 if he could get my cell phone number. Home onto my signal, I'll be easy to spot.

*008 glances over and sees the Lagonda swerving towards him. The two cars crash together and break off. The Lagonda goes off road into the ice gfield and 008 follows. He taps the rear bumper of the other car, causing it to spin. The driver of the Lagonda leans out, firing a gun at 008. 008 ducks and pulls his own sidearm, firing at the Lagonda's tires.

008 glances up at a sound as a missile shoots into the ice in front of the Lagonda. The car explodes and 008 puts the car into a spin,. blasting back towards the road. He stops the car as 009 lands and gets out with 002.*

009: You alright?

008: Yes, very much so.

*They watch the ice field slowly melting.*

008: As I said, easy to spot.

*111 recieves a message on his PDA after days of frivolous investigation.*

111 [to Rex at a cafe]: Bad news.

Rex: What's that?

111: I need to report to Alaska. The other agents are in trouble.

Rex: That's too bad. I don't think we would have found anything anyway. So we're going to Alaska?

111: That's right. We must leave immediately.

Rex: Okay.

111: Hey, can I borrow your cell phone for a minute, I forgot to charge mine last night?

Rex: Yeah, sure.

*Hands 111 the cell phone.*

111: Now if you'll excuse me....

*111 leaves and goes outside. When out of eyesight, 111 carefully cracks the phone open and places a small microchip near the bottom. He then closes the phone back up. Then he takes out his PDA and sends a message to 002.*

Not to worry 002, I am on my way. I should be there in a matter of hours. Now, where in Alaska are we going? I have decided to bring Rex with me. I have a feeling he may be in league with the cat. I will give more details later.

009: So... how do we find 004 now? And, more importantly, where is 003?

002: Checking my Palm Pilot... just a moment...

009 to G: Quite cold here, isn't it?

G: It is if you're not wearing a coat.

009: (looking down at clothes) Knew I'd forgotten something.

*008 sighs and gives 009 his coat.*

009: Won't you be cold?

008: Nah, cold doesn't bother me. I can find 004 very easily.

002: How?

008: With a phone call.

*008 takes out his phone and dials.*

008: Yes, Information? How many pubs are there in Alaska? Ah, thank you. If I give you a fax number, could you send the numbers to my PDA? Trust me, its perfectly legal and ethical.

*002 and 009 exchange a glance.*

008: Thank you, have a nice day.

002: Um, isn't this a security breach 008?

008: Not if you know the operator. She's a nice girl-

002: I think we get it.

*008 nods and takes out his PDA as it begins to beep.*

008: OK, little to no movement. Xen, hand me your PDA for a sec, would you?

*002 hands 008 her PDA and he brings up 004's signal.*

008: OK, yeah. Looks like he's at the Blue Moose Lodge, a few miles up the road.

*At the Blue Moose Lodge, 004 talks with the bartender, a shifty looking fellow who is flanked by two gigantic goons.*

004: About 6'1, blond hair. You didn't see him?

B: No, but I do know of somebody who has seen a man like that.

004: Where is he?

*Suddenly, the two goons pull dart guns and shoot 004 in the chest. 004 staggers around, pulling his gun. He falls as one of the goons catches him and drags him off. The bartender turns to the second goon.*

B: Get his car and dump it.

*Back in the ice field, 008 frowns as 004's signal flutters on the PDA.*

008: Oh, hell. Let's ride!

*009 and 002 leap into their car as 008 follows.*

002: Aren't you taking your car?

008: Not enough firepower, I felt like less of a man in it.

*002 and 009 look at each other*

009 and 002: Men.

*008 hangs on for dear life in the back seat.*

008: I think we overshot the pub 004's signal was at by about a mile.

002: Bloody hell. Turn it around, 009.

*009 slams the car into reverse, doing a 180. She finds the pub and lands a few yards from it.*

111, we believe that 004 is at the Blue Moose Lodge. Be there as quickly as possible.

111: Well Rex, we now know exactly where we are going.

Rex: Great.

*Rex seemed very nervous about something.*

111 [thinking]: Hmmm, I'll have to see what my little bug picked up that I placed on his phone earlier.

*111 takes out PDA and sends another message to 002.*

Almost there. Keep me posted if you find anything. Good luck, and be careful.

*008 heads for the loo when a huge, burly thug stands in front of him.*

Thug: Aint' noone in there.

008: Really? Well, how about you get out of my way and let me see for myself?

Thug: How about I pop your head like a zit, chump.

*008 smiles and chuckles. He suddenly punches the thug in the throat and drives his elbow into the man's neck as he falls.*

008: Why don't I go for door number three?

*The bartender moves to the bathroom but 002 pulls her gun and sticks it in his neck. 009 pulls her gun and waves it around slowly.*

002: Don't.

009: Stay put, folks. We don't want any trouble.

008: Girls, make sure I get some privacy in here. You know how shy I am.

*008 enters the loo and looks around. He kicks open the stalls and finds nothing. He looks around and finds a small groove in the wall. A slight draft of air can be felt. He moves his fingers around the groove and the wall slides open slightly.*

008: Oooookay.

*008 exits the loo and nods slightly to 002.*

008: Alright everyone, listen up! i'm gonna say this one time, and only one time. We're looking for a freind of ours who came in here a while ago. Now we only need to ask a few questions, so there's no reason to get antsy.

*009 leans towards 002.*

009: We really need to take away his copy of 48 Hrs.

002: I know.

*The patrons look around, confused. 008 sighs and draws his gun. Suddenly, the thug 008 subdued stands and towers over him. 008 glances back and places his gun back.*

008: Is he behind me?

009: Yep.

008: Good.

*008 suddenly drives his elbow into the man's gut and slugs him in the face, triggering a huge barroom brawl. 002 and 009 beat the hell out of several goons as 008 and the thug copntinue to exchange punches. 002 and 009 begin tossing patrons outside but the bartender smashes 009 with a chair. Shye stumbles and turns arouns, mad.*

009: Bad idea, Jethro.

*009 begins to beat the hell out of the b artender as 002 finishes off the last of the patrons. 008 is getting his tail kicked when 002 comes up calmly and taps the thug on the shoulder. When he turns, she drives her knee into his groin, dropping him like a bad habit.*

008: I had him on the ropes!

002: Yeah, the one he was about to hang you with.

*They look over as 009 tosses the bartender face first into the mirror behind the bar.*

002: Okay, Joyce. Let's leave him able to speak coherently.

008: I found a secret passage in the can.

*002 nods slightly.*

002: Never mind, Joyce. Just finish him off quickly.

*009 kicks the bartender in the head and follows the other agents into the loo.*

CLUE:

While continuing down the passageway 008 sees what appears to be a corpse laying face down in a puddle of blood on the floor, its hand clutching a photograph. Rushing over to the body 008 gets a look at its face and can immediately see, despite a missing left eye, that this is the corpse of agent 005. An examination of the corpse seems to show that 005 was stabbed several times including once to the eye. The photograph in 005's hand shows the following.
