One of the fishermen mumbles to oo4 that the fishings been a bit slow. Another makes a joke that they are getting rich anyway thanks to the price of salmon. All of the nearby fishermen laugh.

And another pint.
*He thinks to himself how weak the stuff their serving is and he could probably slug down over a dozen of them without any real trouble...uh...well he'd have to get to the loo, perhaps...*
004 leans back in his chair and starts a small conversation with the fisherman. He makes reference to the fact that he's has some interest in chartering a local boat and doing a bit of sport fishing. Who would they reccommend? 004 tells a couple of jokes. Then asks about some good gear that might be purchses, etc., etc. Making light general banter with the intention of getting the fisherman to relax a bit and accept 004 as a someone just looking for a diversion from the everyday work routine.
During all of this...the two businessmen are directly in 004's line of sight.
How does everyone seem to respond to this?

Xen joins her to look at the laptop screen.
002: A detailed map of the ocean... very good.
009: I aim to please. Now... those coordinates?

The coordinates for Prince William sound are 143 degrees west and 61 degrees North. If you reverse them, you are back in the Indian Ocean, right off the Antartic coast.

009: I can see the area on the map... we'll need to get out there. Shall I try to find a boat this time? One that DOESN'T SINK?
*Xen growls*
009: Here, take my laptop. I'll be right back.
...five minutes later...
009: Luxury yacht, two handsome sailors and plenty of champagne... All aboard!

002: I found our port of call, but I don't think we should go in alone. Let's wait to hear from 003 and 004. As much as I hate to say it, we might need those two.

The fisherman happily strike up a conversation with oo4. The businessmen seem to find this odd, but are still trying to play it cool. The fishermen tell oo4 that best guy to get to take him out on the boat in a boat captain named Fisticuffs, but that Fisticuffs seems to have been very busy with charters lately. If Fisticuffs cannot do it, they recommend, a newer captain named Sparks.

*She smiles and directs him to make a turn but seemingly ignores the question*
003: (sly grin) How far should we go?

He offers to buy them a round of drinks as a thank you for their fishing advice and orders himself one as well. He talks about what it was like fishing out on a boat with his grandfather, etc, etc.
He listens to them regail him with such stories and 004 keeps the drinks flowing.
Drawing the men close, 004 makes a subtle and very quiet remark about the pub being primariy fisherman, working men, etc.
He points out (without gesturing) the two business men and asks if they are some of the bosses that employ fisherman. 004 makes a joke out of it that they seem a little out of place...as he orders another round of drinks.

oo4 hears from the fishermen that the businessmen have been hanging around town for the last month or so.
---------------------------
ACTION:
After clearing the top of a steep hill 003 sees a lone log house sitting amongst a grove of evergreens. Asiaq tells him that that is her house. 003 smiles and looks forward to the warmth he will feel inside the house. As they approach, 003 parks the Landcruiser and Asiaq leans seductively over to him. 003 suddenly realise that Asiaq is up to something and reaches for his gun. Before he can pull his gun he knows that he is too late. As quickly as 003 feels the sting on his thigh, he feels the dizziness set in.
He then falls unconscious, his gun slipping from his hand on to the floor of the Landcruiser.

Think they might be a little less inhospitable??
004 orders drinks for the business and for his new found friends. 004 continues to joke with them.
Quietly 004 tells the fisherman: " Hey, you know they don't have ladies...hell, with gaces like those they gotta be apying for it."
004 waits and watches the fun. Do they accept the drinks?

The two businessmen except the drinks and hesitantly acknowledge oo4. The two seem like they don't know how to act toward oo4. The fishermen all laugh hardily.

X: JOYCE!
J: What's wrong?
X: My palm pilot is set to maintain a record of the vitals of 003 and 004, and Bryce just hit the unconscious level.
J: Oh dear! What do we do?
X: Screw this, and save it for another day. We get to where they are, now?
J: How? It will take us hours?
X: No it won't. We are close enough to Australia. We can use their military gear to have us in the Bering Straits in three hours.
J: You hope.
X: Bryce hopes. Call the Americans and Canadians. Let them know what's happened, give them John's description, and let them know an agent might be under hostile transport. In the meantime....
*Xenobia sends an urgent text message, first to 004 and then to the other agents*
003 is down. Last known location follows. In the company of an enemy agent. Alerting US and Canadian authorites for possible hostile transport. All available agents report to scene. 004 report details of those last seen with 003 to all authorities.

It was a great display of ingenuity on your part to actually capture Bond, but unifying us was your previous biggest mistake.
The new biggest mistake is what you just did. Hurting 003 and not hurting 004 as badly is simply bad tactics. You have POed the wrong 00, and trust me, the only thing that is going to last, is the beatdown you will get at Matt O'Shawnessey's hands for this.
I don't like them, and even I know you are going to pay for this.
To quote an old signature, meow you clown!

All is black. The weight of 003's eyelids are just too great to lift for him. He tries to move his arm. No. That won't move either. He can feel a wide band of cold metal around his wrists. Not just his wrists, his ankles too. Another attempt to raise his eyelids proves somewhat successful. He can see, but only in a blur. Damnit eyes, focus, he thinks. What he can see is that he is in a grey and maybe rust walled room. A door directly in front of him stands open and he more feels than sees the single eye of a chinchilla persian cat staring at him. The cat speaks. 003 can't make it out. Something like "Cup all thisp halls".
The door shuts.
He feels some one else in the room with him. Slowly the blur fades, and he sees the beautiful Asiaq standing beside him. She is now wearing a wolf fur bikini and grin that is not only sexy but capable of sending a chill up his spine had his spine not been already chilled by the metal slab table he laid upon. Asiaq lightly licks her lips, and then raises her hand to reveal a very shiny pair of surgical scizzors. Her other hand then rest on his bare rib. Damn, another sting. The black now fights way back into his vision.

Stewardess: So where do you get off?
008: I suppose it would depend on how far I need to go.
Stewardess: I go as far as the plane.
008: Mmm. How long should this flight last?
Stewardess: Twelve hours.
*008 smiles.*
008: Just long enough.

008: Change of plans, darling. I'm getting off at Alaska.
S: Then we had better make good use of the time we have.
*She gets up and heads to the bathroom. 008 smiles and gfollows, ignoring the staring passengers. The pilot's voice comes over the intercom.*
P: Ladies and gentlemen, we are now one full mile up...
*Later, the plane lands in Alaska and 008 gets off. He checks his PDA and exhales as he heads for his rental car, a red Ferrari.*

X: G is on his way, but we still have no word from Matt about last known parties with Bryce. It could have been one or one, or a group moment.
J: I wish we knew where Bryce is right now, so we could get there, find him, and maybe Bond too.
X: No way. They would never put two double ohs together, even if they are incapacitated. They'd find a way out.
J: Do you still have John's pulse?
X: Yeah...and I am not liking it. He had regained consciousness for a moment, but now he is back out.
J: So wait, if you can get his pulse...why can't you tell where he is? Someone somewhere has to know where his signal is.
X: DUH! *Xenobia tucks her palm pilot away, and begins to tap on Joyce's onboard computer* The computers at Q branch should be able to relay that information. I am asking for it, and requesting it be forwarded to all Double-ohs.
J: How long will that take?
X: Hopefully, not long. When we come out of Mach speed, we should have it.

004: Hey man, where have you been?
008: Slight hangover, you know the score. You in Alaska yet?
004: Affirmative, I'm locked onto 003's signal but he seems to be unconscious.
008: I think its a safe bet scotch isn't involved this time.
004: Yeah. So tell me, how does it feel driving what most people would describe as "compensation"?
008: What do you mean?
004: I mean slow down your car, my Lagonda isn't the Concorde. I've been following you the last mile.
*008 slows down and glances over as 004's Lagonda pulls up alongside him on the ice field to his left.*
008: Nice, I approve.
004: Thank god, I was worried for a second. 002 and 009 on the way?
008: I hope so, because things are going to be heating up soon. Call 002 and report your position, she's probably worried sick about you.
