Hmm. That page gives the impression they're highlighting all sorts of displays (and not exclusively posters, though it seems they're the most common). I'm thinking that's probably just a logo standee. Bond posters tend to be little 'events' on their own, I suspect they've got something a bit more memorable cooked up.

They are so secretive of SF I wouldn't be surprised if the teaser is dark and mysterious like TDKR, Spider Man or The Bourne Legacy. With such a great cast I could see the official poster looking like Inception, Fast Five, or The Avengers but I'm fine with simply Bond next to Berenice, in something like that red dress from the press conference.. how could they not.

We are waiting the teaser poster and I think it will be published along with the teaser trailer.

But we should note that the teaser poster usually only show the basic image of what could be the official poster and will not reveal much information, like the synopis, the plot, theme or characters.

Here are some recent teaser poster of Bond saga with little details about the film...

The opposite occurred with these two teaser poster, with more information, with the title and also had the actor...

Definitely. It sums up not just the film, but the entire Bond brand itself in one badass, atmospheric, stylized image. Every Bond poster should just be that, with the title changed.

The CR teaser is a classic & the best of the lot although I have a soft spot for the Goldeneye teaser. During the dark years after LTK, it felt great to see that Goldeneye poster show-up in the theaters.

No. That's not a poster, it's a standee. A poster communicates necessary stuff like a release date, stars, or the fact that it's...for a film.

I'm equally surprised. They're taking the 'hold back official collateral' thing way too far. March/April would have been perfect.

I've had many conversations with people vaguely aware there's a new 007 movie coming out, but with no idea about the title, release date, even the year. A teaser poster not being available yet is a major ball-drop, in my opinion. For heavens' sake, The Hobbit has already released a 2+ minute trailer.

Yeah I know a fair few individuals who didn't know a Bond film was dropping this year either. I mean, it's good that they'll release stuff just in time for the summer movie season, and that it's probably a good idea to generate buzz at a time when everyone will be talking about movies, but still, very surprising.
