Wait, I'm confused.

No, actually, I'm Barbara, but that is a side issue.

Matt is 004, but Matt is Matt? Or has this evolved into the Tula discussion?

004 is Matthew O'Shawnassey (or Matt) as I call him.

Don't get too confused.

Oh good. I thought you were implying that Matt was short for Matilida, your dear little sister, or something like that.

Bryce does have a little sister who watches his back from the shadows....

But more about Kate later...

You don't want to meet her in a dark alley...

Can I ask a simple question? Is there such a thing as a well lit alley?

I'll keep your advice in mind should I ever run into Kate. When is she joining CBN?

As I understand it, the 00 ranks place each agent in a sequence. For instance 001 would be the first to die followed by 002, etc.

Where would that place agent 000?

I have no objection to the number...actually I like the idea...

003?

Your thoughts on this?

000 is a most powerful agent. He stretches from here to eternity.

Xen-there is such a thing as a well lit alley but usually that means a film crew is around making it look like a dark scary one.:)

Interesting, Genrewriter...you plucked the thoughts right our of my head. Frightening. But your most correct.

Acturally, the only well lit alley I've seen in recent years exists in a bowling alley.

Really???

Let me know if I can borrow it some time and take it to work with me?

I think we could all have a very interesting evening with that little device.

Keeping the British end up,

Sure thing, Q-Branch gave it to me to tinker with, apparently they've been having trouble keeping it from exploding. Probably due to the explosives embedded in the second lens.

I had a bit of fun with one of the liaison officers but sadly this is a PG-13 site so I can't divulge the full details.

Sound a lot like the old Q-Branch. I guess some things never change.

I've been wondering what that thing was on the workbench. Q wouldn't let me near it for some reason....

Well, I do KNOW the reason...Last time I was down there, 007 had told me the old rocket pack still worked.

Bryce: No Way!

Bond: Way!

So I turned it on. Q chased it around the shop for 10 minutes and then once it was back in place, he turned around to find 004 lighting a cigarette under the "No Smoking" sign.

Q: Oh not you two in here at the same time. Will you put that out?

004: Soon as I'm done with it Q. Oh, can I have an A Bomb?

Q: (now becoming very flustered) NO!

003: C'mon Q. There's a shelf of them over here.

004: Cool!

Q: OUT!...Both of you.

004: (flicking cigarette) Just have to put this out.

Q: (looking in horror as 004's smoke twirls into waste bin). Noooooooooo!

and with that we...um...DECIDED to leave.

No, I meant I'm buying a round for myself. You guys get whatever you want. :) :)

Q-Branch called me in today and had me replace one of their techs, seems he freaked out when he couldn't find the Vanquish. Turns out he had been sitting on the hot engine for the better part of an hour trying to figure out where the car was. 007 is reportedly not pleased.

*Shakes head*

Thanks Genrewriter. Cheers.

I'll have a "Mary Queen of Scots" - It's a bloody mary made with single-malt scotch rather than Vodka.

004 & I discovered them in Rome one time. I was skeptical, but after the first 7 or 8 I really didn't give a ******* and 004 was chasing the waitress around with ice tongs screaming "piranha" in Italian....

no....really....

You got it, 003. That same tech I replaced this morning had a few rather odd habits. Kept using the x-ray glasses to see how much money Q was carrying around and then bet him that he couldn't guess how much he was carrying. I think I must have been at the same place you guys were at because after I ordered a vodka martini, the waitress started shouting in Italian and putting curses on me. Fortunately I was able to calm her down with a bottle of Dom Perignon '52 and some Dean Martin records.

Yes, 003, that was fun.

We really need to do it againg some time. Lose the ice tongs, this time.

Uh....actually...I thought the "guess the money-scam" was a pretty good one, if I do say so myself.

It got me through college.

Deano still cutting albums. Must be kinda....hard these days.

I was going to go for some Sinatra albums but when I got to her place, I saw a copy of The Ambushers on top of her VCR. Needless to say, Dino won that round.

But "Murder's Row" does give us a lovely 25 year old Ann Margret.....

And let us NEVER forget "The Wrecking Crew" and the beautiful (and tragically) late Miss Sharon Tate and a young Nancy Kwan as "Yu Rang".

Just as long as we stay far from the Bellagio. I had a rather nasty run of luck at the roulette wheel. Things started out fine, but they ended up spinning out of control.

Might I suggest a penny wrapped in tin foil placed underneath the wheel's axis.

It works every time -- so I'm told.
