Brosnan is perfect. He has the charm, charisma and classiness, but he also has that psycho look that he gets sometimes that makes you believe that he is capable of killing without remorse. He also has the perfect good looks that are a little rough around the edges look that really suits Bond.

That IS actually my favorite Bond, but I voted Lazenby because he's the closest thing to the man I see in my head when I read the books.
When I read my first Fleming novel WAY back when (FRWL, btw), I saw him as the artist's rendering on the cover of the Signet 2nd ed.!

2. Sean Connery in Thunderball is my second. His performance was more balanced than the previous. In the first two films, he was too harsh. In YOLT and DAF, he was out of shape and seemed tired and uninspired. Goldfinger, (which is my least favorite movie,) didn't do Connery any justice. In Thunderball he was the coolest and suavest.
3. Roger Moore in For Your Eyes Only, in my opinion, is one of the best performances of any actor in a Bond film. Gone were the stupid puns and jokes, that were very anti-secret agent. Moore gave a performance that was suave, ruthless, and very believable. Unlike TMWTGG, the cold-bloodedness was not overdone, and the dialogue scenes were well written. Could have been nominated for something.
4. Roger Moore in Moonraker is certainly the best "Roger Moore Bond." Like Connery before him he found one of his best performances in his fourth film. Moore was his best dressed, best equipped, had the best lines, ("You missed Mr. Bond." "Did I?") and had his coolest moments. Like the film, more put every penny that he earned on screen.
5. The Benson Book Bond is my personal favorite. To me, he looks like a cross between Timothy Dalton and Hugh Jackman. He is a tormented soul that, like Brosnan, is somehow invincible, despite everything that he endures after each book.

2)Timothy Dalton(He also comes closest to resembling my mental image of the literary 007 than any other actor among the Bonds)
3)Pierce Brosnan
4)Roger Moore
5)George Lazenby
Having said this,I like all of these actors and respect their contributions to the series.

Although I'm pretty 50-50 over Connery and Moore, I intended to vote for Moore as I thought it might even things out a bit {imagining that Connery would be walking away with it}. Glad to see I didn't have to.
