I'v been able to decode the 007 Format, and I've written a Decompressor and a Compressor for Nightfire's .007-Archives.

Maybe he means this. You don't really need an SDK to skin just edit the png files and they show up in the game. As long as you get the folder and filenames correct and the location of the folders and files correct there shouldn't be a problem. An SDK will be needed for modeling and mapping though but I haven't seen one.

P.S.
I closed my old site, that's why you weren't able to download it. My new site is: http://simpunks.techie.at/, but I don't have my Bond skin there.

That REALLY pisses me off. How would it hurt anything for Gearbox to release the SDK? It might even help them move a few more copies of the game since it's down to 15 bucks now. Alot of us chose the PC version largely because of the promise of the SDK.
EA truly is the MGM of game developers.

just tried this skin:

Unlike Bloodrayne you do not have to re-insert back into the pack file to make it work. I wish more games were like Nightfire, no re-packing, no rezzing, no texture conversion. Take a look at the text file I have on my site it will tell you the exact folder names and structure you need. Another thing is your PNG editing software may not be making the right kind of PNG, you need a 24bit PNG. Make sure you are not changing the file name too. Can you send a copy of your PNG skin and I'll test it?
