Oh, come on, KC, you might as well be calling for Sylvester Stallone as Bond. Take Liotta, for example: not only is he American, ethnic - being (presumably) Italian American - and only two years off 50, he's put on quite a bit of weight over the past few years and wouldn't look convincing as a seducer and action man.
On top of all that, he's not even a big box office draw, so what possible reason would MGM/Eon have for considering him as Bond? Even Robbie Williams would be a much more realistic candidate than Liotta.

Jude Law is tall enough to be the next bond. He only need to put on some muscles. And he's got those sexy eyes too. He could be the James Bond with James Dean charms. He is also known Worldwide.Originally posted by crashdrive
As for Jude Law, I can't see him playing Bond. He's too short and doesn't fit the Bond stereotype.

ROFL!!! That's probably what we'll wind up seeing in a decade or so....!

Hugh Jackman - Fan's Favourite for Next James Bond
Hugh Jackman has been voted by the members of CommanderBond.Net as their favourite to be the next James Bond. The Australian actor of British decent won with more than twice as many votes as his nearest competition Clive Owen ("Gosford Park"). Curious enough, the option 'None of the Above' received more votes than Owen, who hence came in third place.
After recent comments from Pierce Brosnan which indicate that 'Bond 21' may turn out to be his last Bond film, fans have been throwing names around furiously who would be up for the task. 40 percent thought Jackman would make the perfect replacement after Brosnan steps down.
22% didn't see any potential in the current favorites and voted the 'None of the Above' option. Brit Clive Owen took 18% of the votes for the third position. Coming in fourth place, Hollywood bad boy Colin Farrell ("Phonebooth") with 10% of the votes and Welshman Christian Bale ("American Psycho") received 8% off the votes coming in fifth. Jude Law ("The Talented Mr. Ripley"), who received the most votes after a similar survey from 'Radio Times', only took 2% of the votes whereas the winner of Amazon's Next Bond poll, Ralph Fiennes ("The English Patient"), was absent from CBN's list.
Hugh Jackman, most famous perhaps for his role in X-Men as Wolverine, has confirmed recently he would be more than happy to play James Bond once Pierce Brosnan retires from the series. When asked about rumours he'd be the next Bond Jackman said, "What guy wouldn't want to be James Bond". It looks like the fans have picked an actor who is more than willing to don the tux.

I've read in past Jackmanslanding.com and I was wonder, Hugh has to voted here, but we can't believe, where hint his nickname? *wondering,wondering,wondering......* AHHHHHH

That Jackman art you created certainly got my attention. Nice chest there, Hugh.
But I was much more impressed with your Jeremy Northam art. Yum! Too bad he's as old as he is. I think he looks fantastic.

Although he doesn't enterially look the part, I feel he makes up with his acting abillity and his screen presence. And out of the list I think he's the only one who is (for the lack of a better word) cool enough to be Bond.

Adrian Paul's a good-looking guy but I just can't see him as Bond. Anything's possible of course, actors can surprise you.

21 is coming 2005 so he'd be 45 then
and there'll probably be another 2 years for 22
so they can release it in 2007 so he'll be 47 then
