Second would be For Your Eyes Only. It's a bit low key next to the other Moore efforts, but its slightly more serious nature is a welcome change of pace after the silliness of Moonraker.
A View to a Kill is clearly the worst Moore film, and a strong candidate for worst Bond film. Moore looks as if at any moment he might turn to dust, making the intimate scenes are a bit hard to stomach, and the film suffers from dull American locations. After a great opening, there really isn't any exciting action at all. Walken could have been the greatest Bond villian ever, but he is oddly restrained here, and only hints at the brilliance he will bring to later criminal roles. Grace Jones is of course supremely ridiculous. This film does boast the best theme song though.

Ouch.....I would reference you to the numerous threads on CBN defending this movie and also the retrospective view of the movie on the 007 Foerver site.
I personally strongly believe TWINE and 'Casino Royale' (1967) to be the two strongest candidates for worst Bond film.

Probably because it was the James Bond film to cause the most controversy, and it happened to come out in 1973. The US had all of those race riots, and since this movie came out around the same time, and because of the subject matter, and seeing as it was sort of a blacksplotation movie, VH1 couldn't really skip over this movie. Also, they brought it up because well, a James Bond movie is a James Bond movie, and that's a big deal. The also brought it up because in 1973, Moore took over the role from Sean Connery, and that was a huge deal then.
By the way, Live and Let Die, is still my favorite Bond film, even though lacks Q in it. As of right now, if I were to rank the 6 Moore films, it would look like this. Also, 1-3 are my favorite Bond films in that order.
1. Live and Let Die
2. For Your Eyes Only
3. The Spy Who Loved Me
4. Octopussy
5. A View to A Kill (I have grown a respect for this movie)
6. The Man With The Golden Gun

You are welcome....I would agree that TMWTGG and MR are the two worst Moore movies. Still, I would rather watch them than any of the Brosnan fare

Aww come on, the Brosnan movies aren't that bad. I wouldn't necessairly put them in the Great cloumn, but they are above average. For some reason as of late, Tomorrow Never Dies has really grown on me, I think I actually like it a little bit better than Goldeneye, but they were both good. As for TWINE, I still think its a decent movie, but it hasn't really grown on me like the other two, and I know you despise that movie . As for DAD, good but not great.
IMO, I would put Brosnan third on the list behind (obviously) Moore (okay maybe that wasn't too obvious) and Connery. Btw (going off topic just a bit more ), I think Dalton was/is very underrated by the public as Bond. License and Living are both very good movies.

I did like "The Living Daylights" but the more I watch it the more I realize that the most downright annoying thing about the movie is Timothy Dalton...I did really enjoy Dalton in "Flash Gordon" though

1. MR
2. TMWTGG
3. TSWLM
4. LALD
5. AVTAK
6. FYEO
7. OP
I enjoyed almost all of Rog's films, except for Octopussy. I thought that was probably the worst Bond film ever made. On the whole though, most Moore Bond films are fairly enjoyable, albeit not likely to be considered "classics." I think many of his films are underrated, especially MR and TMWTGG.

FYEO was a welcome return to the basics....I didn't like it that much when I first saw it because it seemed a little, well - dull...But as I grew up it really began to grow on me and I now rank it quite highly...
I also think I must be the only Bond fan at the time who had a schoolboy crush on Lynn Holly Johnson.

FYEO is a classic....I just watched it again on DVD last night and was once again blown away by how much fun it was. Even Mike Wilson said in the commentary that the producers had watched the Italian sequences in FYEO again (while making TWINE) to see how to do a ski & snow sequence.
A very nostalgic evening...Brought back a lot of cool memories from 1981...
