Is anyone else scared for Bond in this one?

Yes! I am for the first time in Craig's run - Hinx looks really dangerous and very opposing, and Oberhauser looks like he's got everything around him he needs to make Bond suffer (in the past and future) - the author of all his pain.

Oberhauser? I'll be surprised if, for all the arch villain's wiles, Bond doesn't find a achilles heel - if there really is a link going way back when, Bond ought to be able to find one.

Watching the trailer again I really wonder whether Belucci is the big surprise here.
The scene in which she is supposed to be shot but not hit... I don´t know she looks scared but extremly dignified. Almost as if she knew that she woud survive, acting. The next moment she could even suppress a giggle.
I would absolutely love it if Bond kills her husband and saves her... and at the end she turns out to be Blofeld, with Oberhauser only her no.1, and Bond actually has to face the fact that she has pulled the strings all the time, even arranging things so he will get rid of her husband.
I'm really intrigued by this idea, SAF. Especially when you cast a heavyweight such as Christopher Waltz to be the villain, and still insisting he's Oberhauser, not Blofeld. Monica Bellucci could be a Nena Blofeld type character, like from John Gardner's For Special Services novel. Definitely wouldn't mind seeing her in the Bond 25 too!

I'm interested in how the train passengers react to the train fight. They'll be scared, obviously. But how will Bond explain the goings on afterwards? I'm expecting some flippant quip.

"Terrible table manners, that chap!"
Or with a nod to the past; "That's what comes from ordering red wine with fish!"

Off-peak rider!
Day tripper!
He'd forgotten his return-ticket.
If you do feel the need to recommend me in the "Future screenwriter" thread, please know, I won't be punning it up.
"So hard to train good help these days".........

It all reminds me of the scene from "Last Crusade", when Indy throws the guy from the Zeppelin, and says to the bewildered passengers, "No ticket!"
But I must admit, you guys have come up with some admirable ones... Now it comes down to Craig's delivery - and the one-liners aren't always his strong suit.

I don't mind the idea of a female Blofeld, but Monica Bellucci?
Remember those rumors of John Travolta playing the villain in Bond 24? Have him dress up as a woman, he'd still be more convincing than Monica Bellucci.

I think Craig would be capable of delivering one liners in the kind of off hand way Connery did back in the 1960s. (Moore tended to delivery them in a slightly "nudge nudge wink wink" manner, imho)
I think the problem is that when Bond humour tended towards the visual rather than the verbal from the 1970s onwards it relieved the screenwriters of having to think of any decent one line witticisms in the films, and we haven't had that many since - and in the hard-edged Craig era, hardly any.
I repeat, Craig could do them - it just takes somebody to write some decent ones for him. The man said himself one time he doesn't do "shtick", which I took to mean slapstick - but I think he could easily do dry wit.

I don´t think we should expect it to feature a lot of new shots.
It will be based on those scenes already used in all the other trailers and tv spots:
- Moneypenny telling Bond he has a secret and therefore is unable to tell anyone
- Bond talking to Mr. White
- Bond going up the stairs to the SPECTRE meeting
- "Hello James, it´s been a long time"
- some Mexico shots
- some shots from the plane sequence
- maybe the "priesthood"-gag
Ooop, that´s already one minute.

Um... what?
Long story short: Monica Bellucci can't act.
There are worse things than having Bond women who can't act. Denise Richards, Tanya Roberts, Britt Ekland, Barbara Bach ...

You should. She is a great actress who just happens to have great looks as well.

It is. Every single italian person will confirm that. She looks fake.

Hah! I found at least one who will not confirm this. So you´re wrong!
And please, is it that she cannot act or that she looks fake to you?

I sense a Monica Bellucci Appreciation Society at this rate.
She's a fine woman and a fine actress.

This. Lea will have the bigger role, but I'm more interested in Monica. She's great.

Monica Bellucci can dance the thespian Tarantella around the likes of Teri "Lois" Hatcher any day of the week, twice on Sundays. And if she does it naked, I´ll thank her for it Of course she can act. And with a subtlety rarely appreciated amongst actresses. Sure, she´s not Cate Blanchett or Meryl Streep, but she can act. And yes, count me in that appreciation society.

Saw the second trailer today with Sicario. Was different seeing it on a big screen.

You people are too mind closed. You keep judging her for her looks, even if you can't realise that.
But when she acts, she doesn't feel natural at all.
This is a bunch of people critising her, and I couldn't find any single italian who praised her - and I didn't even have too google "Monica Bellucci can't act", I simply googled "Monica Bellucci acting" and this is what I found:
