As long as the White, Greene, Silva colour theory doesn't become a reality, I'm sure I'll be satisfied.

I have a feeling his surname will be made slightly clearer this time around.

In the case of Silva it is stated that it isn't his real name (Tiago Rodriguez is his actual name, if memory serves)

But it was one of them in the billiard room with the lead pipe, right? ;)

Regarding the earlier link posted by Luigi, this is the original article: http://www.bt.dk/fil...endre-min-rolle

I'd suspect the beard is part of his look for SPECTRE (less so the bike...)

Yeah, it makes sense. Which leads me to believe White is going to be wearier this time. Just as Bond was with his bearded look during Skyfall.

Beards = weakness now? Better find my razor...

Not saying White is an icon or anything, but a lot of film icons have been bearded recently. And they've all either been in exile or depressed. Clark Kent in Man of Steel roaming around from place to place doing odd jobs. Bond presumed dead during a mission and holding onto a grudge against M. Bruce Wayne locking himself away for years during The Dark Knight Rises. That's where I get the weary comment from.

I know what you mean. Beards used to be a sign of masculinity, now they seem to represent decline or hardship- interesting to see how views change.

Not a good time to mention Pierce in DAD?

His beard was not by choice.  ;)
