Karen Krizanovich has confirmed that SKYFALL closes with the gunbarrel.
It is a minor thing but if the advanced backlash against this idea is high enough, would it be too late for Mendes to place it at the front before wide release?

No,no, no EON! That's incorrect. 0 out of 10. Fail. Must try harder.

Soo we're never getting a proper gunbarrel then, are we? So what's up with the Bond theme in the Breadcrumbs track?
It's the Bond theme. It can play in other places than the gunbarrel.

Watch it be a new tradition. "Let's close the film with the gunbarrel!"
Thanks Marc Forster...
I blame the 90's Batman films!

Seriously: they closed with their own version of the gunbarrel.

4 years later. Mendes, and EON have given us a proper Bond film, one to remember. Why can't you give us the proper introduction to the films!
To some, it may not be a big deal, but for me it slowly is becoming an issue.

Will be even more anticipatory to hear his review as he is saying it to 'be right up there.'

This is exciting though:
This is a classic Bond film and something new. Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace had shades of the Bond of old with a tough Bourne like strength in the mix, something which here has been replaced with a confident new hand. What is emerging is an action series which is no longer seeking to borrow from the films it originally inspired, nor to coast on past glories. Bond is finding its feet on new ground and the results are well worth the wait.

I guess Quantum is involved then. Mr Silver is a natural progression, obviously.
