With Adele singing "Skyfall", she has set the bar of Bond themes very high. Even if Skyfall wasn't hadn't been as successful as it was, the next singer would have big shoes to fill for Bond 24.

Adele has been suggested by Daniel Craig to return for the next film.

http://canindia.com/...next-bond-film/

And for some reason, new Zealand's Gin Wigmore has come to my mind. I think her voice could be a vital contribution to an excellent Bond theme.

Who do you think should sing the title song of Bond 24?

I want Muse. I wanted Muse for Skyfall, but alas I'll settle for Bond 24. I'd understand Craig wanting to keep as much of the Skyfall crew as possible though as it has performed over everyone's expectations.

Muse is possible, if only because they've been so often mentioned as candidates to do a Bond theme that it may become a self-fulfilling prophesy. I have a feeling that the producers will look at Kasabian, who are signed with Columbia and therefore part of the Sony stable.

Now that we have M, Moneypenny, Q and Bond back in a constellation like in the 60's we can have Dame Shirley back, too.

I'm all for Adele coming back.  Maybe something a bit peppier to mix things up.

Florence please. Better songwriter than Adele by miles and she could make a perfect Bond tune.

How can you be so sure? She and Epworth seemed pretty pleased about people's reaction.

No way in hell would I want Adkins and Epworth return and hand in another tired, half-arsed, soporific Bond theme.

Of course you're entitled to your opinion, but not many people seem to think so.

I, for one, would like another one (or eight) of Adele's powerful and memorable songs that fit right into Kleinman's sequences.

With the surprise return of David Bowie this year, maybe the timing will be just right...

I'd like to see Florence + The Machine give it a go, but I wouldn't be opposed to Adele returning either.

When I heard this song, all I could think of was "This sounds like a Bond theme!" I'd like something like this, except in English of course.

Yep, not my cup of tea at all.

The David Bowie idea is intriguing. But I don´t think he would do it anymore. He has reached that time in his career where he only does what he wants. And the allure of a Bond song might not fit into his artistic vision.

Bond 24 Theme: 5 Artists Who’d Be Perfect

Oh dear... (with the exception of Goldfrapp and Bowie)

I suspect that the producers may try to get Adele back again, especially if/when she wins the Oscar.

Adele will have a long lasting career I would assume, so I wouldn't see the point in her returning so soon if only to take Shirley Bassey's place.

Perhaps save her for Bond 7?

It mustn't seem as if they're trying to slavishly recreate the success of Skyfall. An encore by Adele would be much more conspicuous than a second outing by Mendes. I'm afraid it would seem timid, or at least unimaginative.

Quite the opposite in fact.

What's the old saying? "If it ain't broke..."

They would be foolish to ignore the success of Adele's song. Why wouldn't you bring her back? 'Skyfall' was how a Bond song SHOULD sound. Big, loud, plenty of brass and a soulful voice from a fantastic singer. The lyrics weren't up to much but they never are.

Retaining Adele is a no-brainer. Muse will never get the gig.
