And in such a short space too. Nice handling. These videos remind me of the The Dark Knight Rises videos with the dozens of police cars in some chase. Nice to see we´re getting some good spy work done.Love to see a big Jag being driven like that!

can we assume that since the police just let the JAG drive off like that, that whoever is driving it is working with the police?

Yep, or it's being driven by a special branch/protection officer who's responsible for a high-profile figure's security.I suppose so. Good point.

1:25. Looks like Bond is running off, just as M and Tanner are driven to a safety.
I think that’s more likely to be a member of the crew getting out of shot before “Action!”

(I'd prefer a squirrel, myself)

1:05 - the pigeon. A John Glen reference?
(I'd prefer a squirrel, myself)
Or Moonraker, I bet it did a double take at the speeding cars.

i think its just a random pigeon and wasn't meant as a throw back.
I don’t think so, on Casting Call Pro Lawrence Bartholomew the Pigeon has the following credits.
Skyfall (2012) Whitehall pigeon
Licence to Kill (1989) Isthmus City pigeon
Octopussy (1983) Monsoon Palace pigeon
For Your Eyes Only (1981) Dove (character acting)
Moonraker (1979) Venice comedy pigeon

Oh but the do, for example, Walter the Pigeon lived until he was 87 and appeared in many films, some decades apart.
Walter Pidgeon (September 23, 1897 – September 25, 1984) starred in many motion pictures, including Mrs. Miniver, The Bad and the Beautiful, Forbidden Planet, Advise and Consent, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and Funny Girl.

i haven't seen any of his films but ive heard of forbidden planet which also stars Leslie Nelson from the Naked Gun films and whom i fan.
You wouldn’t recognise him as one of our feathered friends in Forbidden Planet. He’s inside Robby the Robot. It’s an impressive performance, made all the more so when you know he’s operating all the controls using his beak. You can see Pidgeon and Nielson on the poster, along with Anne Francis – as it says “AMAZING!”

Unfortunately I'm experiencing some troubles to understand what the set-builder said. Could you write it down here, please?Skyfall filming report starts at 11.45.

In the first bit he keeps saying that he doesn’t actually know, but he thinks it might be Bond driving to his father’s home. Then he says that’s just what he believes again, but they built a road over a bog.
In the second bit he says, “I think every 4 by 4 within 40 miles of Fort William was used yesterday. It was fabulous – all those test drivers being employed.”
