Well, I've never seen TRON, and it's been a long while - longer than I'd care to admit - since I've seen BLADE RUNNER.

I recommend the newish Director´s cut, good stuff. Ridley at his best. Tron has Bridges, so it´s fun, but very very far from a masterpiece in every way.

It doesn't bother me. It's just the first thing I thought of when I saw the footage was not BLADE RUNNER, but Shibuya in Japan.

Yes, of course, that´s the pic.

It is quite obvious that it is the same place, moment and action... well, and number of the scene, that´s the main reason... :)

About Blade Runner, well, it is only a night scene in China, we don´t have to think that it is going to be the palette of all the movie, just perhaps that scene...

For me, it is quite obvious that the man with the gun had been left in shadows, perhaps to start debate... but, this time, no debate at all (apart of course about who is he, what is he aiming, where is he, the letters on the glass...)

Good point. From the footage you can read clearly only the letters "...tic op......", with the beginning of the first word being pretty short. My feeling is that the whole words could possibly be "asiatic operative", and therefore the place could be the asian subsidiary of a powerful multinational corporation. But given what I actually know, it's just a guess.

I hope people are still in here... So is that new 50th anniversary clip of Daniel Craig from Skyfall? It didn't look familiar and I was pretty sure that he hadn't said "Bond, James Bond" in either CR or QoS.

Yeah, that one. I totally couldn't remember that. D'oh. Which scene is that from? I thought it might be from Mr. White but I didn't remember a structure behind him.

For some reason I just thought I remembered some hub-ub about Daniel Craig never saying that line. It would have been a pretty cool way to slip in a clip from Skyfall though.

And Casino Royale can't be watched often enough.

Yep, with no ligth shining inside of it, so it doesn´t twirl at all. Very poor IMO.

Gunbarrel change from the QOS one. Someone mentioned the blu-ray trailer as having new SF footage, but he was wrong, it was from CR. Then the bunbarrel was mentioned as being the one thing that was new. It all makes sense when explained. Omne ignotum pro magnifico.

I don't think that gunbarrel qualifies as "new" - it's just the QUANTUM OF SOLACE gunbarrel with a new colour scheme.

Yes, I was just thinking about this an hour or so ago. We've had no leaked videos or anything, have we? The production seems to be very secretive, doesn't it?

I think it's a good thing. Keeping it secretive probably means they have something that's worthy of being kept a secret. You never want to spoil a solid story by releasing to much info. I wouldn't be surprised if the first teaser is nothing more than Bond taking a dive in a hotel pool.
