EDIT
Alright, so there's a film fesitval in Cancun right now. It appears that it may have premiered there. I suppose a break in filming before heading off to Istanbul is believable, but nevertheless, this is genuinely curious. http://www.comicbook...g/news/?a=58156

Something's off here Marketto. Unless they wanted to be present when the trailer premiered for Men in Black, I'm definitely dubious of their presence in the country.
THIS LINK says: Speaking at a press event for the film in Mexico, he said: "I was one of the people who didn't think he was good casting for Bond [when the actor was hired for 'Casino Royale'.

"I was one of those people who did not think it right for the role," confessed Sam Mendes ("American Beauty"), which revealed the actor in the United States with his "Road to Perdition (2002)." Maybe I had not chosen Daniel to be Bond, but he proved me wrong.

Mendes and Craig did a collective online direct from Pinewood Studios in England to the press. Earlier, the teaser trailer was shown for the first time. Revealed by the scenes, "007 - Skyfall" James Bond will have a thirst for revenge for a series of attacks on British soil, culminating in the murder of several colleagues.

I would have killed to have been at that festival!
Yeah, me too! Shanghai looks amazing. One scene shows Bond ordering his beer

Then there is the set design drawings on the wall behind Dennis Gassner – I think there are a few clues there – we need a closer look.
It’s largely in German – can anyone translate?
But the interviews are mostly English.

Also some great shots of the Shanghai set designs. Dennis Gassner looks like an interesting chap... Great find, Shrublands!
Yes, he does.
I find this all very exciting – I was just adding to my above post when you posted about the designs.

A lot of those pics behind him must be of the entrance to the Floating Dragon Casino. Then there is the set design drawings on the wall behind Dennis Gassner – I think there are a few clues there – we need a closer look.
There's also a photo of that dragon prop we've seen before on the wall behind the interviewer.

Nice to see those pics of the Shanghai sets on the wall. Some bits of info there:
Scene 62 - Shanghai Atrium - INT & EXT
Scene 67 - looks like the reception of the Macau Hotel.

Yes, it’s either the casino itself or the rather elaborate dock where Bond’s boat sets off for the casino. What makes me think of the dock idea is just that the casino is said to be a 3 story building, and that design looks lower – but it might just be the entrance.

On another note, SF is looking pretty sharp, I can now see what they meant about the modern/classic diad. Good show EON and Mendes.

This is very interesting, it's another set visit, but it's very detailed and we get to see a set at Pinewood we've not seen before. I think it's a Hashima Island interior. Are the doors that we've seen in the background of various interviews part of it - possibly I'd say

All that's interesting is in English or is on display. The rest is just connecting the interviews and not worthy a translation..

Got a feeling this will be cut together with the nighttime footage shot outside the London Exchange House in January. The design is very similar.

Believe me: everything this German moderator says is utter fluff. Nothing new here. Wonderful how Craig looks relieved when the guy leaves.
These "entertainment journalists" really are a pest. They always ask the same, uninformed, clichéd and predictable questions - and of course, nobody is allowed to say anything at this stage.
IMO, they should just give out an EPK and free the actors from this torture.

But as you say...they need to research better questions, for the actors sake so not to answer and avoid the same old nonsense.

Agreed on the cheesy grin. For Berenice I can understand it, but DC must feel ridiculous having a guy grin at him like this.

You are correct. I understand that Exchange House is doubling for the ground level exteriors and lobby entrance of the Shanghai office tower. In fact, I think there might be a clip of Bond following Patrice into the building in the last video blog.Got a feeling this will be cut together with the nighttime footage shot outside the London Exchange House in January.
