Very nice video! I wonder, is that helicopter just getting arial shots of the DB5? Or is the Helicopter actually closing in on Bond? The former seems most likely.

It's filming it. There's a camera mounted under the helicopter.

From Luigi himself, a couple of days ago.

According to the reports of local drivers, a section of the road to Glencoe was temporarily closed yesterday (19.04) to allow a helicopter to take some shots of the Aston Martin DB5 for Skyfall.

Here's the video that was caught while the DB5 was returning for a reshoot. The car is seen at 2:00 mins of the video.

Just nice to see the DB5 getting some proper use, rather then driving around a hotel drive! I wonder how the DB5 comes into Bond's posession in 'Skyfall', it it's his own car or a gadget laiden one from MI6?

Seriously! One would assume that things would be more tightly sealed, unless this was an inside job.
On the other hand, this has a major 'classic Bond' feel to it!

They are filming a very long shot along empty road, so the editor can choose the best bits without having to worry about any short sections in the footage where on-lookers - like the guy and his car - are caught on camera.

Wicked video, thanks for the post Luigi! I've watched it like 5 times. I did see the camera on the copter but I wouldn't mind if it was a chase like in TSWLM. It really has a GF vibe to it. And had I been in that Ford Focus, I would have started tailing the DB5. Sure they wouldn't like that though.

Can anyone identify the clips at around the 25 second mark? The short segment begins with a clip from the hotel fight in QoS, but what is the rest from? Thanks in advance.

Looks like a three-day visit for selected journalists which will probably involve watching some filming, more interviews and other publicity junket features. Fingers crossed for some more film footage too.

There may well be an EPK showing off the fact that there is location filming on Skyfall. B-roll stuff of filming around Turkey, like the running around London and the Tube footage given out at the last junket.

In fact, I’d be very surprised if they did not try to highlight this, whilst the main unit is on Location.
