BBC News this evening has a report from the set of SKYFALL. There are clips of Bond walking through the London underground station, before walking through a side door, and also along a platform towards a busy train. There's also a brief interview with Daniel Craig.
Clip here:

That's great news.

Good to hear they've updated it now. The initial clip must have been a temporary placeholder. Really like the shot of the Jaguar at full tilt through narrow Westminster streets.Just as a note, the link Vaux provided above already has a different video imbedded in it than just a few minutes earlier. A few new shots of Bond exiting a door and looking around, the jag whipping down the street, and a montage of the past Bond actors and films. It's about time we got a real report on this stuff. Craig seems entirely at ease and confident with what they're doing. Great news.

No-one does that clenched/trying to piece things together face better than DC. Things are heating up nicely.
A new official pic and footage of DC delivering a line in the same vein of "sorry that last hand..." should see me through to the end of the month...just.

Nice find lads! Bond looking very serious, and VERY cool. Love the fact that Dan wants to stay as Bond until they have to forcibly remove the PPK from his aged fist.
Looking very young in that interview, as Matt said.

That was FANTASTIC footage. During 0:56 of the first video, you can just imagine the intense Bond score playing in the background. Thank you Marketto!
I do my best Sir.

The presenter said, "This is the first footage from the new James Bond movie, 'Skyfall'..." and I thought it was a Teaser or something! Bit gutted it wasn't, but the report was fantastic, real out of the blue which is even better!
The London scenes already look amazing in these shots now, just seeing how they might look really gives me more excitement. That Jaguar screeching out past the police cars so fast was pretty awesome, and Craig looks like he's really on form as a British Intelligence officer in those Tube scenes, really intense and I can't wait for more!
Rejoyce people!
Oh, I echo the thanks Marketto for posting the videos to watch again - you're a good man!

Agreed, and a big thanks to Vauxhall for spotting this in the first place.

Yeah, it does seem that way.I think it´s quite clear that Bond is chasing somebody and not being chased (as was said)...

Thanks so much, sir. A great link. Very good interview. And I think Craig is here for a while with his comment that he'll keep
going until they tell him to stop. I'm betting Barbara and Michael are going to want to keep Craig for as long as possible.

Going by the Moonraker clip, it seems that they're likening his character to Jaws, though.
Craig says about Bardem:
"He's strong. He's a supervillain. And it's just a real privilege to have him."

"It is a very, very... let´s see, very beatiful adventure and very funny"
"It´s my decision, to make things really hard for Bond and I´m really doing it..."
"I remember seeing Moonraker with my parents, and being fascinated with the man with the jaws breaking the wire with his teeth..."
"It´s a 007 set, here everything is Top Secret, isn´t it?"

just listened to the interview and wrote along. Enjoy:OK, so here it is, the full translated transcription of Javier Bardem's interview to TVE. Spanish members please feel welcome to correct if there is anything wrong. There may also be some errors or strange phrases, but I wanted to post this as soon as possible and didn't review it
Bardem: It’s being a very beautiful and fun adventure. One has to enjoy it, one does it because of that. It’s many things. First it’s a James Bond film. I am 43 years old and since I was very little I remember watching Dr. No, and Moonraker with my parents. I remember hallucinating with Jaws biting the cable of the cable car.
Then it’s a picture that celebrates 50 years of James Bond, it’s directed by Sam Mendes, yesterday I was on set with Albert Finney, with Judi Dench, with Daniel Craig.
Journalist: I’m envying you more and more.
Bardem: It’s cool, and the coolest thing and what’s most important is the material. When I got it and saw the character. Immediately you forget a little that it is a James Bond film and you realize that it is a great film and that’s what attracted me. I said man this gives you a lot of possibilities. Obviously it’s a James Bond film and it has everything you expect from a Bond film.
Journalist: Martinis, women, Aston Martin?
Bardem: (nodding his head agreeing) Obviously. But besides that there is a super-powerful story and a character with meat to put your teeth in and enjoy doing.
Journalist: I imagine that evidently very little can be said about this Silva. All we have seen is a photo where you are blond. What is this coincidence of strange hair styles and characters in the limit. Is this a strategy used by directors or a coincidence?
Bardem: No, it’s because I’m so good that they have to give me these hair styles to remind me that I’m bad. No, what happens is that I can’t tell much about it but it has to do with the character . I don’t know, there is also something that Sam, the director, told me a short while and he was right: James Bond films are midway between reality and fiction. Therefore is a very good and very fertile terrain to play the characters with a certain freedom. It has to do with a real situation and there has got to be seriousness playing it but it’s more open, it gives you more air so that you can work and imagine more. And that is very fun because you’re not doing absolute fiction, it’s not a superhero picture, but it’s not a completely down-to-earth film. It’s something in the middle that’s very good and very fun for an actor.
Journalist: Well, we’ve talked about Jaws, and others that gave Bond a hard time. I’m sure that Silva will do that to.
Bardem: That has been my decision, I’m completely decided to give him a hard time and the truth is that I get to do it. On script, doing it in the set is a different thing. The character puts Bond into some curious and interesting difficulties and one has to do it, and give the ideal that you are the villain. Otherwise there is no point in doing it. You have to put the actor in a difficult situation, that’s the objective. In that sense Sam is helping a lot, he’s an amazing director. And I’m delighted to be working with Daniel, he’s a guy with balls, he’s a really hard working guy, super-compromised with what he’s doing. For him it’s stenuous, six months of shooting everyday, in addition with a lot of physical demand and the guy holds on super-compromised. He’s an actor who is doing some amazing scenes. As an actor I look at that and I say great, and like it. And then he’s very much a clown, which I love, the moment they say cut. And he’s a guy who brings a lot of humour and a lot of lightness to the thing because obviously these are very long days and and for him it must be, it is difficult. So it’s an amazing experience!
