Wondering who everyone thinks should be future Bond girls. Also, what should the names be. I like Yvonne Strahovski, Olivia Wilde, Deborah Ann Woll, Emily Blunt, Evan Rachel Wood and still think Stana Katic deserves a better role. As for the names, Vivienne Michel, Gala Brand and Liz Krest still haven't appeared in the films. I also would like to see more double entendres say Muffin Heat or Janice Cummings?

Agreed on Strahovski and Katic. Both would make great Bond girls in future films, although I'm sure that Katic won't be considered due to her appearance in Quantum of Solace. As for Strahovski, I think she would be great in the role of a rebooted Mary Goodnight, which would obviously be a much more serious and competent character than the one portrayed in The Man with the Golden Gun.

I'd love to see Strahovski in a Bond film. I'd like Mila Kunis to be a Bond girl as well.

Strahovski would be perfect. In that case, how would work Zachary Levi as a Bond actor? Perfect in my opinion.

When you say "Bond actor", do you mean "portrayer of James Bond"? Because that seems like a pretty left-field choice. Zachary Levi is an American light comedy actor with a blunt nose, smiley eyes, and a toothy grin that takes up half of his face. He's suited to playing a goofily handsome comedic everyman. See also: Ashton Kutcher, Luke Wilson, Paul Rudd, Ryan Reynolds, etc. Even if these guys were British, they wouldn't be remotely credible as lethal, physically intimidating action stars.

I don't think that Zachary Levi would make a good Bond. I absolutely loved him in Chuck, but he is in no way Bond material, and I would imagine that he'd probably tell you the same thing. He is a terrific comedic actor, though, and I can't wait to see what his first post-Chuck project turns out to be.

Yvonne Strahovski, on the other hand, really needs to be in a Bond film. She'd be brilliant.

If they're bringing back the blondes, they should get Alice Eve instead. Lovely voice too.

Could we start a petition for Yvonne Strahovski for Bond 24?

It most likely wouldn't work. She doesn't really have a mainstream enough fanbase for such a petition to even conceivably work, and even if there were enough signatures to get the petition noticed, that would probably make EON more inclined not to cast. Plus, and this is just my opinion, I think it would be better for her at this point in her career not to rely on the fans to get her work. She's already had her job on Chuck saved by fan petitions/campaigns/etc. for three consecutive years when it looked like she and the rest of the cast would be out of a job.

It was just a joke, but I'm sure she'll be on the list for Bond 24. The final season of Chuck may have prevented her from being on the list for Skyfall.

I want an old-school puerile pun, like "Hedda South" or "Mona Gaspar".

Of course, the name of Gala Brand should appear, it's so elegant.

As actresses...

Noomi Rapace (Millenium, Prometheus)
Charlize Theron (Prometheus)
Penelope Cruz (Broken Embraces, Vicky Christina Barcelona)
Monica Belluci (Matrix Reloaded)
Scarlett Johansson (Vicky Christina Barcelona)
Melanie Laurent (Inglourious Basterds)
Marion Cotillard (Inception)
Audrey Tautou (Amélie Poulain, Da Vinci Code)
Emily Blunt (X-Men First Class)
Anne Hathaway (The Dark Knight Rises)

I could see Marion Cotillard as playing a Bond girl. I think Anne Hathaway could be a good bond girl especally based on her performance of Catwomen. I think she could be sexy enough to pull it off.

I've always thought Catherine Zeta-Jones would be great for a Bond film. I think enough time has pasted from Entrapment.

I've abandoned all hopes of Thandie Newton ever starring in a Bond film (Damn you, MI2!) and now endorse this fine lady for a part in a future Bond adventure:

Coincidentally, I learnt of Morena Baccarin for the first time yesterday when I was watching the pilot episode of HOMELAND. Nice and easy on the eye. She also has another very good selling point in that episode...

I suggested her to play Jinx in a movie version of 007 LEGENDS. ;)

If Christopher Nolan directs, I'm sure Marion Cotillard will be in it. (shudders). As for Morena Baccarin, that would be interesting.

She's beautiful, not denying that. She's a terrible actress though. It would be akin to having Denise Richards in a second film.

I really don't mind Marion Cotillard either, Denise Richards IMO is much worse.

What about Sylvia Trench? She could provide a bit of a social life for Bond outside of his work, and maybe bump up the average female life expectancy. I just can't think of who would play her...

For some reason, I've always thought Mary Elizabeth-Winstead would be great in a Bond movie. Not as the leading lady, but perhaps as a CIA agent working with Bond?
