I'm going to see The Dark Knight Rises again tonight, this time in IMAX. Can't wait for the trailer. I hope it's on!

Anyway, as we head into the last 90 days, I’m expecting quite a bit within the next week or so – New trailer, title song artist announcement...

Yes 3 months not 4, my mistake. Don't forget the poster, How long before the films release does the poster normally come out ?

Seen it. WOW. That's all I can say. I think we're in for the most beautiful Bond film in decades. The cinematography in this blows all other Bond films out of the water.

Some shots I can remember.

Finally went to the TDKR in IMAX and saw the trailer. Here's my thoughts.

I'll just say, Mendes is definitely putting his own unique stamp on the franchise here. While, yes, this seems like a more classic Bond film than the last two, it definitely comes across as very different from anything we've had before. Just the visuals are far and away the best we've had in the series, which I suppose would be expected when Roger Deakins is your DP, but this even looks like some of HIS best work and one of the most stylishly shot action films I've ever seen. It's got a very clean, sharp digital look, and a very interesting hue to all of the different locations. Another thing is I think we've seen the last of the angry walking around pissed off Bond. You get the sense that Craig has really settled into the role and as a result Bond seems to be enjoying himself more. There's him fixing his cuff in the midst of chaos and winking at Mallory I believe during a gunfight. The only thing I didn't care too much for to be honest, was Severine. She's attractive that's no doubt, but she seemed to have this cliched "mysterious bad-girl" vibe, and her delivery of "You made such a bold entrance into our little drama." was a little corny. But besides that the trailer was absolutely phenomenal, from the editing to the music. Craig's delivery of THE LINE just oozes swagger and he has this cool about him in this trailer that I really haven't seen since Connery in Thunderball. I got goosebumps at a point near the end where there's this huge action montage with this massive epic soundtrack with all these mindblowing action shots and then all of a second the music pauses and you hear the roar of the blades of the helicopter approaching Skyfall and then the epic track kicks in to this intense climax, more crazy action and you see Bond in what looks like the London underground/sewer holding his gun and firing which illuminates his face and then it smash cuts to the title card. Honestly, if this trailer reflects at all what the film will be like, then Chris Nolan can wait because I want Sam Mendes sticking around.

I'll attempt at a discription...

The trailer starts with an extended version of the part in the teaser, when Bond is walking into the light. First there's a focus pull of Bond standing at the end of the corridor, then the beats match with him getting closer to the screen. Once we get a view of him, the beats continue into a room where Bond is leaning over a man dying in a chair. A voice over says something about death. Bond then says "It's too late. It's gone." throwing aside a laptop.

MGM/Columbia logo. Shot of MI6, M in a car, with Judi saying "Have you any idea whats at stake here?", then it cuts to Tanner telling asking to get back up. Loads of shots of Bond and Eve in a car in Turkey. Bond says "You're too bloody late.", more shots of Bond on a motorbike, then Bond smashing through a window on it. Then Bond turns to Eve in the car, says "Trust me" and grabs the wheel.

We cut back to Fiennes saying to M "You are responsible for the loss of a data drive containing the name and location of every agent around the globe.", M then says something about following all leads she can. More action. Bond running etc. Bond and Patrice on the top of a train, just missing hitting the bridge by ducking really low.

Eve aiming a rifle.
M: TAKE THE BLOODY SHOT!

BANG.
Cut to black.

Bond hitting the water.

Electronic Bond theme starts up.

Bond walking through the door on the deck of a Yacht, then up to Severine.

Mallory: Have you got any location on Bond?
M: Somewhere in the south china sea.
Mallory: Is that it?
M: When you've worked with Bond for aslong as I have, you'll know that 'somewhere in the south china sea' is precise intelligence.

This is cut with Bond letting Eve in his hotel room in Macau, then shaving him.

Q: I'm your new Quartermaster.
Bond: You must be joking?

Bond waking down a corridor, gun arm raised.

Q: I can do more work in a few hours in my Pyjamas that you can in a full year in the field. Sometimes you have to pull the trigger.

Smash cuts of Bond loading a gun in Shanghai, ending with the man falling from the teaser.

Bond: It's difficult to tell which is which, especially sitting in your Pyjamas....... Q.....
Q: 007... They shake hands.

More action. So sorry, I can't remember much!

Wow! Just seen the leaked trailer and though half of it is blurred, it's still impressive and fully conveys this is going to be an epic Bond movie full of intrigue and action. Gave me quite me an adrenaline rush I can tell you. I enjoyed the teaser trailer, but this one takes it to a whole new level!

Agree. What's the rush? I'd rather have good quality later than a poor quality now. That's the trouble with the Internet these days: since everything is potentially at hand, we want everything just now.

I just saw it on the net, a bootleg version, apparently shoot in a theatre.
It's absolutly huge.
Brillant.
But it shows us a lot of things, this time.
May be too much, particularly about the PTS.
So, if you really want to stay spoiler free, may be it'd better not to see it.

The TV spot is basically just 30 second recap of the IMAX trailer. Didn't get my Bond rocks off that much.

Is anyone else getting a MWTGG (novel) vibe from this trailer? Bad guy with a distinctive gun, apparently showboating to Bond, major action set piece on a train and of couse the whole "dying" and "ressurection" buisness.
