The general rule of Comic Con seems to be that the higher profile the project, the less likely its footage ends up online, unless as part of a feature 'Comic Con blog' or something.

8 days after the Twittered event, The Black Knight Rises will open at IMAX theaters (in the US, at least). That ought to be a fine occasion for IMAX and the producers to roll out a new Bond preview -- perhaps done, as has been done for the 2nd and this 3rd Batman film, as a brief segment of the film, and as has perhaps already been shown and has been discussed on these "pages"

They'd certainly reach what is anticipated to be a very large audience, and one with IMAX enthusiasts in it.

IMAX Trailer For James Bond’s Skyfall Fleshes Out The Plot A Little

’m fresh out of the IMAX Remix event held to coincide with Comic-Con and there will definitely be more to say about that later. For now, though, let’s discuss their big finish: the premiere of an IMAX exclusive trailer for Skyfall, the next James Bond picture.
The key point of interest is the introduction of a key new plot point. We see Judi Dench as M being chastised in a most expositional manner by Ralph Fiennes character. He’s telling her off for the loss of a “drive” that contains the identities of secret service agents embedded in terrorist groups around the world.
She promises that everything is being done to get the drive back, which essentially means Bond is on the case.
We get a good look at several action set pieces, including the train scene – which also seems to feature heavy plant and JCV action.
And there’s a good bit of interaction between Bond and Q, including their formal introductions. Q talks about his role as though he’s less an inventor of crazy new gadgets and more a hacker. He talks about being able to do pretty much everything Bond can do but while at home, in his pyjamas.
Asked why Bond would be needed at all, Q remarks that, sometimes, somebody has to pull a trigger. Puts Bond in a very particular place.
There’s very little of Javier Bardem in the whole trailer. A quick shot of a computer screen flashed up towards the end of the trailer calls back to the plot point about embedded agents. Out of context, it’s hard to know exactly what the shot means, but in this trailer, it certainly has some implications.
The image was a little dark and various other IMAX issues plagued the presentation, so I can’t really tell you how Roger Deakins’ cinematography looks. I can honestly say that no trailer for any other Sam Mendes film was as appealing as this one, however. Skyfall may yet prove to be a rollicking good night out, come November.

Brand New Skyfall Trailer Premieres In IMAX At Comic Con
Earlier this evening I was invited by IMAX to attend a special event called IMAX Remix at the Ruben H. Fleet Science Center where famed DJ Glen Morrison spun music while various pieces of footage from IMAX films were shown on the domed screen (including scenes from movies like Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol,Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Star Trek). It was a very cool event - I still believe in the future of IMAX over 3D - but what really made the night was what they were saving for the end: a brand new trailer for Skyfall, the new James Bond film from director Sam Mendes.

The trailer begins with Bond (Daniel Craig), wielding his Walther PPK, slowly walking down a hallway towards a room where a man is sitting in a chair. When he finally approaches the man, he discovers that the man in the chair is dead. We see shots of M (Judi Dench) riding in a car and voice-over by Gareth Mallory (Ralph Fiennes), who seems to be speaking with her, says that three months ago she lost a drive that contained a list of every embedded secret agent employed by MI6. And that's when everything goes into overdrive as we get a glimpse at exactly what "Sam Mendes, Action Director" looks like. The trailer has flashes of the big train sequence that we've been hearing about for a while as well as a car chase with Bond in the driver's seat and Eve (Naomi Harris) in the passenger seat. The first montage ends with Bond and a mysterious villain fighting on top of the train with Eve holding a sniper rifle from a distance and getting ready to take a shot.

When then flash back to MI6 where M is being asked by Gareht where Bond is and she tells him that he is somewhere in the South China Sea. When asked why she doesn't have better intel on 007's location, she explains that when you've worked with Bond as long as she has you learn that "somewhere in the South China Sea" is as good intel as you're going to find. And then there's the trailer's big reveal: the first appearance of Q (Ben Whishaw). At first Bond is questionable about his new quartermaster, but Q then explains that he can do more with his laptop sitting in his pajamas than Bond can accomplish in his year. When Bond then asks why Q needs him, it's explained that sometimes a trigger needs to be pulled. For the most part the rest of the trailer is montage, with shots like Bond's Aston Martin driving through the empty desert, Bond passionately making out with a woman in a shower (it was hard to tell if it was Harris or Bérénice Marlohe) and more insanely huge action set pieces, including the subway crash that was featured in the first trailer, Silva silhouetted with a giant fire burning behind him, and even a scene involving some giant construction equipment. It's one seriously exciting trailer.

I walked out of the theater more excited for Skyfall than I was before, which is pretty damn impressive considering how excited I was prior to the trailer. The person introducing the trailer did inform us that the trailer will be available online and will be showing exclusively with IMAX screenings in the coming months, but didn't say precisely when it will be available (though we will be sure to post it the moment it does). Fleet Science Center was, tonight, host to a special "IMAX Remix" Comic-Con press event that, following a montage of 65mm footage with a live soundtrack by DJ Glenn Morrison, previewed, for the first time anywhere, a brand-new trailer for the upcoming 'Skyfall'. The footage itself will be revealed at IMAX theatres across the country in the weeks to come, but ComingSoon.net was on hand tonight to catch a few of the new plot reveals.

At the start of the trailer, we learn that M (Dame Judi Dench) was responsible for a drive that contains the names and locations of every British Intelligence Agent stationed across the world. That drive has now gone missing.

Following the character's first image reveal yesterday Ben Wishaw's Q is seen in action. We watch him meeting Daniel Craig's 007 for the first time where tells Bond that, with his expertise, he can accomplish more on his laptop in his pajamas in ten minutes than Bond can in the field in an entire year.

There's lots of actions scenes, including quite a few shots of Bond fighting someone hand-to-hand on the roof of a train car. Later in the trailer, we see the same car being torn apart (while it's still moving) by a pursuing construction crane.

Of course, there a number of franchise mainstays: we see the classic 007 Walther PPK, the original Aston Martin and we get to hear Craig say, "Bond. James Bond." along with quick flashes of Naomie Harris' new Bond girl, Eve.
