I'm so, so, SO glad i did not waste my money on yet another Bond cash-in. I never played Bloodstone though, and i'm surprised to hear people say it really is quite decent. Is it worth me getting?

In the mean time, back to Dishonored and Bioshock. Real quality games :)

I would get BloodStone if I were you, I bought it cheap on eBay just to be a completist and I do not regret it one bit, there are some very good moments in it, very Bondian in places.

I think the number 1 problem is the poor graphics......should have spend more time on this and like delay the game by a few months or so.......

Number 2 the writers and producer

Number 3 price is too high for cheap graphics.....

I have not played this or buy it yet but it surely not worth 60$

I don't have Legends, though I might get it on the cheap when I can. The concept looked interesting though in general it seems like they could have done a much better job. Still waiting for that dream Bond game.

I'm happy my Goldeneye 007 for the N64 still works...

I wish I still had my N64 to re-visit 'GoldenEye 007' like the good old days.

I'm going to have another bash on the Legends multiplayer tonight, see what treasures it holds, if any. I'm hoping to play as Max Zorin somehow, somewhere...

I have just been at a videogames shop. I saw a 007 Legends, so I picked it just for curiosity. There was written that the game is not even translated in italian, while GoldenEye reloaded was not only translated but also dubbed, just like 90% of the videogames.

By the way, the most shocking thing was that they wrote DR NO instead of LICENCE TO KILL!!! They didn't even write the name of the correct movie!

Activision just needs to stop treating the license like Call of Duty: Bond. Bloodstone is the only decent game they've made in my opinion, but it obviously didn't get the attention from the developers it deserved.

I agree. Quantum of Solace was an okay game and at least worth a playthrough. Blood Stone unfortunately got overshadowed by the GoldenEye remake for Wii. Barely promoted and you're right, it didn't get the attention it deserved. I wish the sequel would have come to be. It was a great game and really felt like a Craig movie. That should have been the direction they kept going in for the Bond games.

Me too 007jb. They should have focused on a singular narrative rather than cobble numerous films together at the expense of cutting out quality, time and detail to just one.

They could have incorporated lots of the 'legends' theme for a great multiplayer experience with the locations and characters, but just focused on 'Skyfall' as a game itself, that would have worked far better.

Skyfall is the 50th anniversary of Bond and that should be indication of a separate game with effect and amazing graphics......if Quantum of solace have a game Skyfall should too........and know we never get that game, and that Skyfall DLC do not even cover the whole game......now that do not make any sense

Maybe it will. GoldenEye had one game two years after the movie, and another 15 years after.

With the way it's been recieved in film version, I reckon the game would do brilliantly for Bond fans but they've screwed that chance up with 'Legends'.

I agree, Skyfall would've probably made for a decently fun play through...

It is annoying to think that a great Bond villain like Raul Silva will have to sit out the gaming world for a bit.

Such a waste! "Think on your sins, Activision."

Just played the Goldfinger mission (Auric Enterprises). Could have been worse, but it's OK to me (I'm not a very exquisite videogame player, mind you!).

Still, kinda difficult. I'm accustomed to the QOS three-person/first person perspective on PC

I thoroughly enjoyed that cover system/perspective. Compared to any other Bond game, Quantum Of Solace's fist/third person fusion, puts it closer to the top of the best Bond games list, rather than the bottom.

Side Note: Nick, I continually and greatly enjoy seeing all the cool pictures you're able to dig up and share on The GoldEye Dossier's Facebook page. Good stuff mate!

Careful, being someone who is preparing to study journalism by the new year, I may just take you up on that offer. I currently review sports-related events for a site owned by a friend of mine, so I am no stranger to the practice!

007 Legends developers Eurocom staff being cut to 'under 50'

http://www.joystiq.c...ut-to-under-50/

Looks like there'll be no more Bond games from Eurocom. I wonder if one of the cancelled console projects was a Bond game that was axed after 007 Legends flopped?

Well it's a big shame, but they should have put more into this gamble and not expect everyone just to lap up anything with 007 stuck on it.

^ Yeah I agree with that. I haven't bought it yet because I have heard it is not worth the 60 dollars no matter if it is a James Bond game or not. Plus I want it for christmas. Maybe if they could make a very decent Bond game they wouldn't have to cut staff?

It sounds harsh to say, especially because many people lost their jobs, but maybe this is what it'll take to make Activision realize they should actually do something worthwhile with the Bond license and not expect it to sell based off the name. I'm curious as to how many copies it did sell. I suppose it won't be long until it becomes a bargain buy.

Sounds like we have 3 new DLC's available for free for 'Legends'...

007 Pack
Players will be able to dress for success in split-screen multiplayer mode with an exclusive James Bond character outfit, and additionally, use the most famous of James Bond’s handguns – the Walther PPK pistol. With the 007 Pack, fans also get early access to the Fast Switch gadget, which increases weapon swap speed by 50%.

Nemesis Pack
Play 007 Legends through the eyes of two notorious Bond rivals – Jaws and Baron Samedi. With the Nemesis Pack, gamers get to play as Moonraker’s space-suited henchman or Live and Let Die’s voodoo king sporting his iconic skeleton paint in the Legends and multiplayer split-screen modes.

Stealth Pack
Increase Melee Range With The Long Reach Gadget And Use The Acute Hearing Gadget For More Radar Visibility To See Silenced Weapons And Louder Enemy Footsteps.

There are a lot of dedicated players on Xbox.

Nemesis Pack - you can play as Jaws and Baron Samedi already, what's the point of that?

To be honest, I miss EA. 007 Legends is not that bad IMO but a tad repetitive and quite hard to beat (trying to escape Graves' HQ now).
I mean, EA gave us the Bond feeling in their games (I miss the Bond moments!)

There's a link to download the soundtrack on MI6. For all its faults, the new music was great. I especially like "Fighting our way through".
