Got this also from MI6 about the chart performance. The last paragraph speaks volumes and hope EON and Activision see how much they've cocked up the big chance for a true 50th Anniversary James Bond game...
The new James Bond videogame '007 Legends' had a satisfactory entry in the the UK sales charts, but has quickly descended out of the Top 20.
'007 Legends' entered the UK Top 40 Entertainment Software (all prices) chart on week ending October 20th at #12. Other new entries that week included "Doom 3: BFG Edition" at #5, and "Skylanders Giants", also from Activision, at #2.
The split between Xbox 360 and PS3 sales were 51/49 in favour of the Microsoft platform.
A week later, "007 Legends" slipped two places to #14, and then left the top 20 in its third week of release, slumping to #24. The market for first person shooters will be encompassed by the release of the new "Call of Duty" title this week.
Unfortunately, official sales charts are not publicly released in the USA, but industry tracker VG Chartz estimates the game has sold 13,286 units in 3 weeks, which would make it the poorest performing 007 title in recent years.
In such a big 50th year, even this can't help sell decent numbers of the new Bond game. What a shame!

I REALLY didn't think I'd be so dissapointed with how this game has panned out, as I try to see the love in every Bond product. This has a few good moments but overall everything is very weak, and this is annoying, as if 'Skyfall' DLC is going to be worth the wait and be THE mission of the game to blow us out the water!
Yeah, right.

Let's hope our next James Bond game is something like the 2006 'Casino Royale' shake-up and it defies all expectations. Am I counting too much on this again?

I wonder if EON or whoever's responsible will learn from this and will give the license to another developer (which, in my opinion, should be Rare).

I agree there should be a long gap now, let the bad games fizzle out and really put effort into a new game that encompasses winning game design and production.

Took me probably just over half an hour to complete all the DLC. It feels tacked on, and flat like the rest of the game.

I'll see if I can find the Xbox DLC tonight and try finish Legends tonight. If this was Bond's legend in reality, what a way to fizzle out! Thanks for the heads up Pete. Wasn't sure if it was 9th or 20th!

And interesting in the early footage from 'Moonraker', the used Lois Chile's Holly Goodhead skin with her long hair, but now it's a new model with short hair in the final game. Wonder what happened there...?

The fact 'Moonraker' ended openly, and then we have to go to additional content for 'Skyfall' made me sick. I can't tell how the actual game ended as 'Skyfall' felt like a sheer free DLC add-on and nothing to the game itself. I have no conclusion to the previous 6 films that were just passing time to play the mess of 'Skyfall'.
Oh, no, sorry, I do know how the game ends - a moral message with Bond saying "We all have to do what we have to do." Or something like that, and a triumphant blare of the Bond theme. Yeah, I was bored at that too.
Very sorry for this rant, but so, so dissapointed with the game and 'Skyfall' DLC itself. James Bond can return with Activision if he wants, but I won't be after this mess.

It adds nothing to the main game (whatever that is, cobbled together with no story) and doesn't add to the film itself. As it's free, you'll probably want to get it and finish it so you've done it, but don't expect anything amazing. As the level starts, it's exciting thinking you can take part in 'Skyfall', but that fizzles out soon.
Sorry!

I'm going to have a few more goes of multiplayer and then re-visit 'Blood Stone' to see what a decent Bond game plays like.
No don't give the game up! You should play the multiplayer with me when I get it for christmas!
