I still hope it's not the final cover but know it is... *sigh*.

Ok here we go - my first ever real Media creation for Photoshop. Hey, it's loud and proud but something along those lines to just scream Bond to us, it's not hard to do for a professional company with imagination.
With a bit of cleaning up and with a higher resolution, I'd take this over the other everyday of the week (and twice on Sunday)...

It already is fantastic, and better than the original (and I don't really mind the original, I just think they could make it better, but I like it).

Haven't read all 18 pgs of posts here so I don't know if this has been addressed, but, does this game have the choice of which Bond you can be? If not, then why? I mean, to me it would make the game that much better. For me, it loses something if you are playing Goldfinger and you're not Connery. Or, playing Moonraker and you can't be Moore etc. it shouldn't be too hard to do. Especially if they were able to 'resurrect' a young Connery for FRWL.
No it's Craig in all of them with updated stories.

I guarnantee playing this I'll be imaginging myself as Connery in 'Goldfinger,' Dalton in 'Licence To Kill' and the rest, even though it's Craig...it can't be helped! A bit of Bond imagination goes a long way...!

My original thoughts on picking the Bond etc paralleled the sports games like Madden and the NFL etc where you get to play the players you like. However, since this game is more in line with where there isn't a Bond running around then the ol'imagination will definitely kick in. That works for me.
Oops, I meant to say more in line with Nightfire.

In GoldenEye Reloaded, 96% of cutscenes were in first person.I remember the point as it's 1st person, you don't need to see which incarnation of Bond it is anyway, except cut-scenes and voice.

So I ask for the last time: why do people want to play this as Sean Connery if you will see Bond's face for a total of 5 minutes in the whole game?

I like the idea of playing as Craig for the other five films, I think it makes it in a different way, special. Good point though, although I only remember one cutscene in GE:R wasn't in first person. There would be no point in having seen Connery, Moore, Dalton, Lazenby for five minutes or less.

Inspired by all the supposedly "amazing" and "fantastic" mock ups on other websites, I'm going to attempt my own later this evening.

They are only simple images just to represent three of the films in the game. The Vanquish still is there to tell you that DAD is in the game, not to imply you can play in the Vanquish etc.
You will be driving in the Vanquish. It actually looks like you'll be controlling it both in the DAD section and the Goldfinger section.

It's just Craig they failed on in my opinion.

Well that cover ups it by about 5%, just the variation of the graphic boxes looks better, with logos too. A bit better, good job.
It's just Craig they failed on in my opinion.
I'll go with yours anyday over the final product.

Here's what I've come up with. I've tried to make it realistically possible for Activision to do themselves without having to go to much effort, but also not looking like a hatchet job!

That is truly some of the worst cover art I've ever seen. It's hard to understand how they got it so wrong.
They probably wanted to make sure that they didn't outdo the people who were paid to create the Skyfall posters. Between 007 Legends and Skyfall and the box for the Bond 50 Blu-ray set, this has been a very disappointing year for Bond artwork.
