House hunting for after I get married.

You can't buy a house before you get married?

Slight clarification: I will be moving into the house after I get married, but will buy beforehand! Bad wording on my part  :)

I'm keeping an eye on Colorado as a dark horse for a wildcard.

Good luck to your Cardinals this season.

I just hope that the Nationals don't blow it this year.  I keep hearing from everyone that "this is the year", but seriously, don't tell me that until they can get out of the first round of the playoffs.  I just hope that they don't end up facing the Cardinals or the Giants in the first round (assuming they make it).  That didn't end very well for them the last two times out.

Fingers crossed, Billy Bob!! Trouble is we have to deal with the Dodgers and Giants in the division.. As for the Sox, hard to say what's gonna happen in the AL East this year.. I'm not anticipating the Yankees to be a huge challenger this year.. It might be Baltimore again.. We'll see..

Gotta represent your team with pride, wherever you may be! It's mostly Rangers fans here in central Oklahoma!

I'll be taking a vacation to DC the last week of May and I was hoping to maybe catch the Nats... alas, they are out of town those dates. The way Atlanta is cleaning house, Miami may be their only obstacle in that division.

True, the NL West is never easy... And I wouldn't be surprised if Toronto made some noise in the AL East.

Back on CBn (I suppose) after moving last week.

Move went well, I did manage to slice my finger open on the first day, so that was pleasant.

On some excess metal on my fridge. Wasn't a pretty feeling or site. It's healing, although rather slowly.

For a sliced finger, I'm glad I didn't need to visit the ER and slow/postpone the move. Still sucked putting extreme pressure on it, as for three days I couldn't bend it or make a fist, and there were a lot of heavy stuff I had to lift. Oh well, I'm fine now. :D

Was on the phone for over two hours with Verizon to figure why I'm paying $140.00 a month for high speed internet, when speed test suggests otherwise. Took a handful of people to get me to the right guy who is or rather was, trying to reverse this problem and upgrade it for me. Otherwise, my newly bought Xbox One is just worthless as I can't download/install games I just purchased. It's just a $350.00 glorified Blu-Ray player for now.

Hey Ace,

Google "Verizon Check" and click on images.  Here's the actual customer service call :

Search "Verizon math fail" for more.

Sorry they wasted two hours of your time.

What pissed me off more was how the representative said he was going to call me back, but never did. I waited two full days before calling and complaining. I ended up finding how that they over billed me by $80.00 which was infuriating - charging me for high speed internet (which I'm not getting), phone (which I don't have), and Cable (which I don't want). Apparently, some person axed my bill and is bumping my speed up dramatically on Wednesday.

It's really sad that I had to go forty minutes out of my way to my sister's place and use her internet just to download my games on my newly bought Xbox One.
