Hi mate,

 

it was OK in the end - the trains were really quiet. Got home quicker than ever.

 

Terrible end to the siege, but could have been a lot worse.

A colleague knows someone who works at the cafe but they have Mondays off! Very lucky.

I have a phone interview today at lunch for a prospective job at another company, which requires relocating. Trying not to get too worked up over it!

Well, I thought that went quite well, all things considered. Mostly HR stuff, but I got a good vibe from the interviewer. Hoping to hear back about a second interview the first week of January!

Today was my mom's 49th birthday! Ironically (probably the wrong word) 45 years ago on this day, December 18th, The sixth James Bond film, On Her Majesty's Secret Service was released!

I went to the Hobbit on thursday and there were parts that I liked but there were parts that I didn't like. I did like Thandruil though and his elk. Tauriel was also really cool.

Setting off for work in literally 10 minutes. I have a 5 hour shift tonight and then it's straight back home for a 6 hour sleep until I'm in work again from 10am tomorrow morning for 15 hours! There's a match on, so my city is going to be completely overcrowded with football fans getting drunk and inconsiderate. I can't really complain though, since i'm the one getting them all drunk. Send some positive thoughts my way. 15 hours of hectic stress is something I just cannot wait to undertake(!)
