Advil LIQUI-GELS.  Better than anything even Q-Branch could have done.

 

In my hungover state I forgot about Advil, thanks for the reminder.

Just saw Prisoners, absolutely loved this film. Emotionally charged, and relentless mystery thriller. Been a while since I've been this emotionally invested in a film. Got things to take care of first, but will post my review for it by tomorrow night.

Went on a road trip today to pick up my friend from college, and I took a nap when I got back and I think I might get frozen yogurt with two friends of mine and just relax.

I just bought a new Stratocaster (replica of the one given to John and George by Fender back in '65 (if I recall correctly), and am playing the Bond theme opening right at the moment.

Big day today. Biggest rematch in mixed martial arts history is going down. Chris Weidman vs. Anderson Silva 2 for the UFC Middleweight Championship. I will be surprised if this makes it out of the first round.

 

Also happened to pick copies of Shame and Ain't Them Bodies Saints so it'll make for a great night of films. Also planning to see Out Of The Furnace tomorrow.

Well, I ended up buying a brand new TV. A cheap, yet beautiful Vizio E-Series 24 inch Smart TV. Amazing, cost affordable television. Currently have my cable box linked up, my Xbox 360 running via 1080i Component, and a Phillips Blu Ray player running at 1080p HDMI.

 

Bought four films for around $60 on Blu Ray: The 30th anniversary of Blade Runner, featuring five cuts of the film. The limited edition of the classic comedy The Big Lebowski, David Fincher's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and for only $4, Soderbergh's Side Effects.

 

Thinking of watching Side Effects or The Counselor tonight.

Definitely agree. Really under appreciated film from 2013. Top notch directing and acting.

Woke up, fed dog, walked dog although dog didn't want to be walked at that time. Left my Mom's home (I'm housesitting) & went to work. Pissed off at least 6 women. Left work and went back to house, now typing this. Good day today!

Bought my tickets for Interstellar in IMAX. Friday morning at 9am. Shouldn't be packed, right? We'll see. I saw The Dark Knight Rises in IMAX at 8am the day after it opened up and I stood in line for nearly an hour.

A gunman has taken hostages in cafe in Sydney's CBD at Martin Place, about 6 minutes walk from my work.
