The Telegraph has just posted a new Videoblog, featuring interview of Craig, Dench and Mendes about the filming in London.

Thanks Shrublands. It's nice to see all the little scenes we have already seen them filming in London put together. I never noticed M's car racing though the cars over the bridge before.

It's not a particularly photogenic city

I beg to differ, I've taken some beautiful photos in London. The different styles of building, history, lights etc - It is very photogenic.

It can be very photogenic for static images, but for drama in moving images, I know exactly what he’s talking about. It is very difficult to construct something with atmospheric continuity - and the bigger the scale, the bigger the difficulty.

It's not very photogenic for a film possibly because you can become so used to seeing London on the news or regular TV. In this sense I mean it is probably hard to make it look cinematic, but it looks great on the footage and images we've seen.

London is under-rated as a photogenic city, but there is so much there that, if captured correctly, could look superb!

And the passion clearly eminates from Mendes, Craig and Dench and I think we're in for a visual treat, and exciting to say the least, I second the Jaguar sequence - looks briliant!

Istanbul is such a great city. One of my favourite places.

Loads of good footage in that videoblog. Well worth waiting for.

That scene by the water where Bond goes for a drink, isn't that suppose to be China?

Turkey, I think.

Yes, a seaside town in Turkey.

Probably some confusion as some scenes shot in Fethiye were intended to be set in Turkey, with others set in Macau and the South China Sea.

I can't recognize it from any film in particular, but it sounds a lot like David Arnold.

Yep. Pretty generic Arnold.

Hope to God Newman's score is nothing like that.

Looks like Patrice blocks Bond's way by knocking an air conditioner in his path @ 1:02 of the Istanbul VideoBlog.

I think that is why Bond drives off the path in this old clip of production, skip to the 00:54 second mark:

Followed by the scene of Bond driving through the glass window at the bazaar, seen in the trailer.

I extracted the Audio Channel from the Turkey Videoblog only with the music (no sfx, no dialogue) from the begining. Can we say this is indeed the first snippet of the Skyfall soundtrack?

Maybe, but in CR's videoblogs there was some stock music in it that wasn't part of the score.

They've only been recording the soundtrack for a week or so, so I'd be very surprised if it was Newman's work!

Unless it is the digital reference version of the soundtrack? Hmmm.

More than likely it's generic agency music provided exclusively for the blogs, as was the case during all the CR podcasts.

I hope it isn't from Newman's soundtrack. It's very generic and bland.
