I'm also surprised by the lack of a second one. However, QOS was (in my opinion) severely over-blogged to the point that practically the entire film was highlighted before it was even released.

Much as the secrecy pains my impatient side - worth it in the end, methinks.

It might actually be worth a mention. Before SKYFALL, Marlohe's biggest credit was appearing in a Dacia commercial. Compare that to everyone else - Craig, Dench, Bardem, Fiennes, Finney et al - who are all established, professional actors. So how does Mendes manage someone who is very inexperienced, but was impressive enough to win such a major role? How does she fit in with the rest of the cast and (to a lesser extent) the crew? When I was watching the "Firefly" and SERENITY DVD commentaries, one of the big things both the actors and director Joss Whedon stressed was the relationship between the actors and the relationship between actor and director, especially when they ended up casting an actor (Nathan Fillion) in a role that was written and intended for someone else (Nicholas Brendon, who played Xander on "Buffy"). So I think that Marlohe could give us some real insight into how Mendes operates as a director.

She has mentioned, as has everyone else, how great it is to work with him. I do not see how she could possibly say anything particularly insightful that elaborates on that simple statement in any significant way in the course of two brief minutes. In any event, my remark was intended to poke fun at how repetitive the dialogue stemming from the production has been, and how her appearances in public have been consistent in the content divulged. Would I love it for her to open up about Severine and the Sam Mendes experience? Course, I'm just assuming that we're going to be getting more of the same, and maybe one brief glimpse at something new.

Great news! It was only recently I was thinking Bérénice as Severine has had very little exposure (bar media appearences) so it will be nice to see something of her or the character in the video blog, as with anything else us eagle-eyed CBn'rs can gleam!

Probably also worth pointing out that the scene shown with Severine will be one we don't know anything about at the moment, given that she hasn't appeared to be involved in London exterior shooting or anything featured on the call sheets. All speculation admittedly, but perhaps we'll get some shots of the Chinese casino scenes.

Anyway, either 40 minutes or 100 minutes away now, depending on whether Eon remembered the UK clock change.

Well all I will say for Eve is that she looks set to be one hell of a field agent with the attitude and confidence Harris was showing.

Naomie is handling those weapons like pro from that video, fantastic! Nice to see the PPK back in action too, obviously!

Severine looks stunning, but I don't know how to read her character now, looks very sultry and sexy, got a flashback of Xenia Onatopp almost. So she must appear first in Shanghai then...

The usual videoblogs that don't give anything away. But that's indicative of the production so far right?

Naomi looks like she's really having fun shooting all those guns. And Bernice looks more or less definitely Eurasian in Skyfall. In that shot of her riding the escalator down you can see her eyes have been made up to look Eurasian.

The Severine video will no doubt be disappointing for some. Clips of the press conference, a publicity stills shoot and one shot of filming - namely her on an escalator flanked by two bodyguards at Shanghai airport (i.e. Ascot racecourse). She looks super though!
