Thank you for your work. It´s the most interesting so far, as you already know, because EON is being very secretive. How could you reach the graves so close?? That´s "amazingly spoilering"... ;-)

(Late to the party again.) You will have to make do with echoed thanks as opposed to original thanks! All rather lovely photography and thoroughly delightful prose. Thank you.
I have left a brief message on your blog to say 'thanks', but wonderful that you popped over here.
I do hope people enjoy your nature coverage as much as 'the rest'! I know I do; a wonderful way of being introduced to it.
Best regards.

You're on Wikipedia. Your life is now complete. In March 2012, Lucy Browne, an amateur photographer in Surrey, England, encountered production of Skyfall in Hankley Common (standing in for Glencoe, Scotand). She documented production of the film in her online blog, which included the construction of a manor house purported to be "Skyfall Lodge", the Bond family estates. The site also included a chapel with a graveyard, and a third building

Okay, I should just point something out here: I've linked to the Wikiepdia article on SKYFALL, and if you follow the link, you may think that the article is incomplete. For one, most of the character names are missing. Please don't go in and edit the page to include details like that. Not unless you have a source (and the call sheets posted by Marketto don't count - there is no proof inside the call sheet itself that it is the real thing).
You might not be able to prevent that, y'know.

Woah. I'm really sorry to read about your most recent experiences, It sounds like you've had an extremely stressful day and I was saddened to read about it. I hope you'll ultimately be able to reflect on your overall SKYFALL memories as positive, and not let today tarnish that too much. All the best in future. Please drop in here at any time, and once the film is released in October, I hope you'll be able to enjoy seeing Hankley Common on the big screen. It's all gone a bit pear-shaped, guys...

Still, although it's fun to see the set I must admit I don't really want to know exactly what they're filming now; might actually spoil the film a little bit.

I'm very sorry to hear about your run-in with the authorities, Lucy. It seems rather heavy-handed to arrest you for taking a few photos of a film set. But I suppose we can now say that there is such a thing as bad publicity...
It's a shame it's ended on a bit of a sour note. But even if the MOD think you're a villain, you'll always be a hero to us.
Take care, and thanks again for all the fantastic information you've given us over the last few weeks.

They want free advertising, but only according to their timetable. They need to advertise Bond's familial home storyline to their prospective audience, but only according to when they feel it would benefit and not harm.
Truth be told, the people who read these pap bits will go to see the film anyway and those that don't read, will probably go too.
Oh well Lucy, it was fun while it lasted. Many thanks again.

Bad movement from EON. That´s not privacy, that´s bad publicity. Imagine what that kind of newspapers can do with this...

Because Sam Mendes wants as much as possible kept secret for as long as possible so that when people walk into theatres to see the film, there are still some surprises left in it.Jeez, EON, c'mon and make with some more plot or casting details...why all the secrecy?? I seem to recall that information about Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace was very easy to come by

What would have been the charges? Is it not public property of sorts where dog walkers can enjoy the countrside and take photos? Your blog would seem to indicate that this has been perfectly acceptable? So is it the Bond set, which is on public property, or your photographing on some MOD land?
If the former, does that mean anyone with a long range lens looking at the filming could be clobbered? The Turks had better be made aware...

Photos of the lodge, Daniel, and the DB5 from a distance was probably ok. But those close-ups of the tombstones. BIG spoiler. I can see how Eon would be pissed. Kind of wish I didn't know, but they were everywhere.
Then it´s EON fault. If they don´t want that kind of photos, they should had put security around or say the crew about not letting anybody being so close...
If NOW they can use the "force" against any tourist, then they should had think that before...

I agree with the rest here. Bit of an overreaction on their part, quite frankly. Your pictures and blog are marvelous. I hope you're doing well and that you continue to update that fantastic blog of yours. Take care!

The kind of spoiler to do with headstones should have been better managed by the production company. And if it leaks, then heavy handedness should not be retrospectively resorted to.
That said, I am still not sure what the potential for arrest was all about so until this is made clear, much of what we are saying is purely speculation.

It would appear that Bond's parents/heritage was intended to be the big secret of SKYFALL. No wonder that EON flipped when that got out.Photos of the lodge, Daniel, and the DB5 from a distance was probably ok. But those close-ups of the tombstones. BIG spoiler. I can see how Eon would be pissed.
I'll be interested to see how SKYFALL's use of that material differs from CARTE BLANCHE.
