The insert certainly beats the outside cover, but doesn't Georgy Lazenby look near unrecognisable?
He looks like Clive Owen.

New image I came across! Looks sexyyyyy!
Awesome!!!! Thanks for the post!
Any confirmation of the specific extras on the set? I am referring to the individual film disc extras. Is it everything from the UE DVD sets?
Thanks!

If you look closely it says "Reserved for Skyfall" so I imagine it's a cardboard placeholder. The bottom texts probably reads "Own it on DVD and Blu-ray in early 2013" or something to that extent unless they already have a release date in mind. What's the Skyfall disc?
In any event, the set looks great.

1) Clive Owen wasn't in the Bond series and they've used the wrong actor instead of George Lazenby..must be a printing error.....
AND
2) Shame the space for 'Skyfall' doesn't have an image by it, or a Bond girl, as other images from the set show Mary Goodnight for 'TMWTGG' and Anya Amasova for 'TSWLM'
But looks good!

But I didn't know Clive Owen played Bond after Connery ...

Haven't spotted anything new in the extras yet, although there are a few oddities.
DAF seems to have been re-classified as a "12" certificate... unlikely to be a new edit of the film, perhaps the enhanced clarity of Blu-ray is making certain things more visible than on murky VHS or 4th generation cinema prints - Maurice Binder's titles were always close to the edge of acceptability for an A/PG certificate.
Tomorrow Never Dies is back to a "12" again - the UE DVD was a 15 because they released the version without the BBFC required cuts - has the BBFC relented on the original cuts for a 12 or is the origianl-cut version with one we'll end up with?

It is hard to recognize Lazenby in that photo isn't it? Reminds me of the cover of the VHS collectors edition of OHMSS which had him in a snow suit holding a gun and it to was hard to recognize him.
I highly disagree about this image being as unrecognizable as the one on the last VHS version. It was clearly Lazenby, it was just a bad picture; this photo, on the other hand, has obviously been photoshopped to the point where he's beyond ALL recognition! They seem to have messed with his nose, lightened his eyes too much and for the love of all things holy: HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A MOLE! (EDIT: yes, I realize it's on the other side of his face...)

He almost looks Asian, just my opinion.

That's exactly the one I thought you were talking about and it just looks like George Lazenby squinting into the sun to me... not unrecognizable by a long shot!

Unlike the cover of this new BR box, where he really looks like Clive Owen.

Well I guess it is just me then that thinks so. Either way the Blu Ray Lazenby photo looks to airbrushed and it is hard to tell it is him. Doesn't matter to me, I'm not completely sure I'm going to get the Blu Ray Collection anyway.

The BBFC has been busy classifying all the Bond movies and the extras for the Blu-rays this week and last

Thank you for posting the link! I was hoping this would happen again for the Bond blu ray set. In addition, it also helps to confirm that the extras are the same as the UE DVD's. I'll have to review them all as I can.
Interesting note on DAF too!
Much appreciated!!
It's great to have posts that are relevant to this release and not just rehashed stuff about pictures on packaging.
Thank you!

I'm getting the Bond 50 set, but I think this is a great option for other buyers.
Currently the previously issued blu rays are on moratorium.
Hopefully they ad the "resume film" feature to all of the blu rays as well.

Hopefully Fox and MGM announce that all of the titles are available through Wal Mart. I think that would be pretty cool.
I would hope that EON wouldn't go exclusively with Wal Mart. I can't stand shopping there, so I'd be pretty disappointed if the individual releases were to all be exclusives there. At least so far none of the five or so films I plan on buying on Blu-ray are on this Wal Mart exclusives list.

Hopefully more news about these releases and the other 007 films on blu ray is made known shortly.
This would be great news for those that picked up the individual blu ray titles here in the US.

I don't want it to be just all at Walmart, for the individual ones or take too long as a Walmart exclusives. I would also like to see them at Costco, Best Buy and Target also.
For those of you here on the forum, who lives here in Northen California or use to, you should already know there are no Walmart in San Francisco, South San Francisco, Daly City, San Bruno, San Mateo, Foster City, Redwood City and Palo Alto. The closes one for people in San Francisco and Daly City us in Oakland, in that whole neighborhood near or alittle pass the Oakland coliseum.
That is why I don't want the individual ones only be at Walmart as an exclusive for the the time being.

Got it. I'm not a Wal Mart fan either, but they do ship items from their website. So that could be another option.
For sure I'll be curious to see how they do these titles in terms of the packaging, etc.
I'm also curious if they will be getting all of the individual Bond titles on blu ray too.
Hopefully we get some confirmed news very soon on all of this..

Oh well. I get OHMSS, YOLT and TLD on Blu-ray finally. Can't complain too much.
