A tanker truck. I think it would be harder to find a reason for a tank sequence.

What Bond stunt would you rather see in Bond 24; driving a vehicle on half it's tires (DAF, LTK) OR a barrel roll (LALD, TWINE) ?

Barrel roll. And "its" doesn't take an apostrophe.

Which do you prefer

Idris Elba as Bond #7

or

me telling people what letter to lead with in the "ABCs of Bond" thread.

I can't do anything right! lol. So is it only an apostrophe when its an object that belongs to someone?

That is a tough one for me. Idris Elba would be my choice if Craig walked away from the roll now but not in a few years from now. I think he would be to old. That would be my choice.

Which setting would you rather see in Bond 24; The CN Tower (Toronto, Canada) OR Christ the Redeemer (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) ?

The CN tower in Toronto. Bond has yet to be in Canada and I haven't seen anything set in Rio that doesn't show Christ the Redeemer. Give me something new please.

Should we get another adaptation of Moonraker:

Yes, Logan and Mendes understand the material and would do an excellent job to give us a more faithful take

OR

No, it's a dated story and has been attempted twice (MR, DAD) both times with disastrous results. A third attempt would be more of the same

?

"... when it's an object that belongs ..."

A contraction always warrants an apostrophe.

A personal pronoun warrants an apostrophe. The impersonal pronoun does not.

John's car
Jane's house
...on half its tires

Neither. I don't see the point adapting Fleming's original novel as most of it has found its way onto the screen. Two of the four previous adaptations (MR and DAD) are mostly excellent. The other two unofficial adaptations (YOLT and GE) are poor.

Get John Pearson - while he's still breathing - to write an updated version of his 1973 Bond biography right up to the events of "License Renewed", or hire somebody else to do it.

Right...as this has ONCE AGAIN been derailed,

M and MI6 Staff mix and match-ups:  Dame Judi Dench's M and Lois Maxwell's Moneypenny OR Bernard Lee's M and Samantha Bond's Moneypenny?

Er, no it hasn't. You didn't answer my "this or that" question:

hire somebody else to do it.

I would suspect Roger Deakins will be the next Skyfall-returning crew member to be confirmed for Bond 24..

For Bond 24 would you like the pre-title sequence to be...relating to the main plot of the movie OR a stand-alone mission that Bond completes just before the main events in Bond 24?

Standalone mission. Haven't had one of those in years. Octopussy had the last true one. Apart from that GF, TB, MR and FYEO are the only true standlone mission PTS.

Somebody else finish my turn, thanks.

If they aren't going to continue with Quantum then I'd like to see PTS of Bond taking out Mr White.

What would you rather see Bond doing in Bond 24, competing in an off road rally OR sailing in a yacht race?

An off-road rally.

PTS swap:

FYEO and DAF

OR
TLD and GE

?

I'll go for 'TLD' and 'GE' - 'Diamonds Are Forever' is just too strange for me.

What will make the villain of Bond 24 "perfect" to you -

A visual defect or horrendous scar, a'la Blofeld, Tee-Hee, Renard, Le Chiffre etc

OR

A normal looking person with a fantastical plan, a'la Goldfinger, Kamal Khan, Franz Sanchez, Dominic Greene etc

??

Hmm...tough choice..well, we just had Silva with his cyanide-dissolved teeth and jawbone, so perhaps for Bond 24 we can have a baddie who is normal but has a fantastical plan.

Do you think the title of Bond 24 will be....a one word title (i.e. Skyfall, Goldfinger, Goldeneye, Thunderballl etc..) OR a multi-word title (Live and Let Die, etc..)?

I think..singular. Straight to the point - BOOM.

If a major Hollywood star was going to be brought in to 'Bond 24' in the same way Raplh Fiennes was in a role vitally important but shrouded in secrecy as to why, who would you have star -

Danny DeVito as the main villain, but you didn't find out until the 3rd act he was the real "mastermind"

OR

Jack Nicholson as the main villain, but you think he's a good guy until the 3rd act

??

Jack Nicholson. Danny DeVito is insatiable as Frank Reynolds, but keep him far, far away from Bond. Speaking of things far, far away:

Which actor from Star Wars would you most like to see make an appearance in Bond in some way:

Harrison Ford

OR

Mark Hamill

?

I'd like to see Mark Hamill....Harrison Ford is perhaps too high profile an actor..People might start to think that it would be "Hey, Indiana Jones meets James Bond" or something like that.

Which Non-official James Bond flick do you think would make for the most interesting video game adaptation?  Casino Royale '54, Casino Royale '67 OR Never Say Never Again?

CR'67 obviously.

Which Bond personage would you most like to see get their own spinoff series?

J.W. Pepper

Dr. Christmas Jones

Christmas Jones only on the basis she actually is less annoying and more easy to watch.

On the same idea, which villain would you like to see in a spin-off movie (like 2004s 'Catwoman')

Francisco Scaramanga in a prequel to 'TMWTGG' called "Scaramanga: Eye For An Eye"

OR

Jaws in a prequel to 'TSWLM' called "Jaws: Evil Rises"

??

Definitely Scaramanga in "Eye For An Eye"

Say you win a "Live-like-James Bond" fantasy vacation...what would be the most appealing for you...Use of an Aston Martin DBS for a week + a complementary suit from Tom Ford  OR a week's stay in the luxury suite at one of the 5-star hotels featured in the Bond films + a weekend adventure at a gun range, to sharpen your PPK skills and stunt fighting class?

I would LOVE the Aston Martin drive BUT would feel more like 007 with the week's stay in the luxury suite at one of the 5-star hotels featured in the Bond films + a weekend adventure at a gun range.

In another prequel Bond villain movie - who would you like to see:

Max Zorin in "Zorin"; tracing his upbringing, his psycopathic ways and his rise to power with the KGB

OR

Elektra King in "King"; looking back at her upbringing, working in a dangerous business and eventual kidnap by Renard

??

I'd say Max Zorin...

The score for Bond 24, doesn't matter if its Thomas Newman or David Arnold or someone else...do you want snippits of Skyfall's score and thems to be re-used....YES or NO?

OR

Donald Pleasance as Goldfinger

In the future, would you like to see Gardner's or Benson's novels adapted to film:

Yes, there were some great stories in there that would translate well to film

OR

No, only Fleming works should be adapted

I'm leaning to the second option, not because I think Fleming's book should only be filmed (and a lot of the time the filmmakers only took the title), but because the Gardner-Benson-etc. books are no good and/or are unfilmmable.

Ian Fleming writing a Boysie Oakes book

or

Ian Fleming writing a Big Herbie Krueger book

(No doubt both would prove to be dire-beyond-awful, but alas, I throw this choice out there for the world to vote on.)

Stana Katic as Corinne...Bond could use her as his Station C: Canada contact, should Bond 24 call for a visit to Canada..

If Felix Leiter makes a return in Bond 24, should it be Jeffrey Wright OR a new casing of the character?
