I can't do anything right! lol. So is it only an apostrophe when its an object that belongs to someone?
"... when
it's an object that belongs ..."
A contraction always warrants an apostrophe.
A personal pronoun warrants an apostrophe. The impersonal pronoun does not.
John's car
Jane's house
...on half its tires
Should we get another adaptation of Moonraker:
Yes, Logan and Mendes understand the material and would do an excellent job to give us a more faithful take
OR
No, it's a dated story and has been attempted twice (MR, DAD) both times with disastrous results. A third attempt would be more of the same
?
Neither. I don't see the point adapting Fleming's original novel as most of it has found its way onto the screen. Two of the four previous adaptations (MR and DAD) are mostly excellent. The other two unofficial adaptations (YOLT and GE) are poor.
Get John Pearson - while he's still breathing - to write an updated version of his 1973 Bond biography right up to the events of "License Renewed", or hire somebody else to do it.
