Just a coincidence IMO.

Bond 24 should feature ninjas and martial arts OR lots of heavy weapons in firefights?

Ooh..Ninjas and martial arts please!!

Dan's Bond gets to chase after / hunt down the baddie in a sequence which pays hommage to a classic Bond film..which should it be.. Bond chases the baddie in a bobsled chase sequence nodding back to OHMSS OR Bond enters the baddie's lair in a white knuckle rock climbing sequence, nodding back to FYEO??

Bond enters the baddie's lair in a white knuckle rock climbing sequence, nodding back to FYEO
As someone suggested in the Bond 24 thread, it would be interesting to see Bond afraid of blinding heights after his parents' death.

Would that be a good idea?

OR
Should we stop looking about Bond's past and move towards Bond's future?

That would be a very good idea, actually. Perhaps after a film or two, he fights a baddy very high up, and he then isn't afraid anymore.

Terrible plot twists 2:

Bond is actually Alec Travelyan

OR

MI6 is a cover for an extremist group.

As in the freerunning sequence from Casino Royale?

James Bond in South Park

OR

James Bond in Quahog

He's been on South Park.

"Remember, ladsh: no fifty timesh and yesh once meansh yesh."

And that's enough for me. They wouldn't do him justice on South Park.

Continuing the trend of never showing Bond having down-time at home

or

a montage a la the Mary Tyler Moore Show titles, with Bond washing his car, shopping and throwing his hat in the air

?

Continue the trend as fun as the montage sounds.

Will they ever return to using disguises, masks and plastic surgery/cloning/DNA transplanting OR never again?

I think they will return to the disguises / surgery etc. It's a great use in a story to get out a good twist!

What location should be a set-up for another Bond/villain conflict

At a fairground (more dangerous than 'The Living Daylights')

OR

Inside a hotel (more intense than 'Quantum Of Solace')

??

In a hotel. This seems more Bond-like.

Which old henchman would you like to reappear?

Jaws

OR

Knick Knack?

Jaws. I think he could be brillianty eerie and deadly in this new era of Bond films and bring back a good, solid henchman.

Did Connery or Moore have the most outrageous use of a vehicle in their films:

Connery and the Moon Buggy in 'Diamonds Are Forever'

OR

Moore and the Bond-ola in 'Moonraker'

??

Moore and the Bond-ola. Outrageously awful.

I haven't tweaked Eric Stromberg in some time.

Which do you like better...

"California Girls" heard during the OHMSS ski chase?

or

That blasted slide whistle from TMWTGG heard whenever Bond beds a woman in OHMSS.

or

Woody Allen as Blofeld in OHMSS.

What was Connery's biggest mistake; walking away from the role after YOLT OR Never Say Never Again ?

YOLT. His career slumped between 67-71, and still took a few years to recover after DAF.

After NSNA he was golden. SPECTRE , the sequel to NSNA - although announced - never happened, and probably wouldn't have done, even with Connery still aboard. Connery missed out on nothing, though - The Untouchables (Oscar for BSA), IJ and the Last Crusade, Hunt For Red October, The Rock...

Perhaps his biggest mistake was making League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, although as usual he was the best thing in an iffy movie. Either that or not doing one more film and going out on a high note.

Biggest missed opportunity:

Connery as M

or

Moore as Q

or

Dalton as Silva

?

IMO, the biggest missed opportunity was the rumored Connery as Kincaid in Skyfall, but I'll take Connery as M out of your choices, AMC.

Are you...enoying the somewhat downtime of Bond after the glorious 50th anniversary year and tremendous success of Skyfall OR are you already antsy and itching for Bond 24 to get into full motion?

Enjoying the downtime after Bond's 50th. I'd rather them take their time with Bond 24.

Desmond Llewellyn as Blofeld

OR

Shane Rimmer as Bond

Desmond Llewellyn as Blofeld, perfectly British! Would be interesting having an older Blofeld just pulling the strings hidden away.

In 'Skyfall', what sequence was most Fleming-esque to you:

The Shanghai skyscraper

OR

The Macau casino

??

The Macau Casino seemed like it could've been ripped straight from an unfinished Fleming manuscript. Perhaps they did find Per Fine Ounce?

Robert Brown as Q

Telly Savalas as M

Robert Brown as Q - he had the cantankerous nature down perfectly!

Which American powerhouse would you like to see as a shady operative investigated by Daniel Craig's Bond in a future film?

Jack Nicholson

Robert Redford

Which baddie henchman, who didn't have a single line of dialogue in their Bond film, did you like best?  Ola Rapace's Patrice in "Skyfall" OR Michael Gothard's Emile Locque in "For Your Eyes Only"?

Sean Connery in 'OHMSS' - we can't have Brosnan in a Dalton film!

How do the CBn boards seem to you now -

Too Quiet - Bond has reached fever pitch and now the ghostly remains are all that is left until we get going with Bond 24 news / rumour

OR

Nice and Calm - A more focussed point of debates, and not too busy so easier to enjoy the Bond comedown and future film build up

Would it be more fun to see Craig's Bond playing a round of golf with the villian in Bond 24 (as a nice nod to Goldfinger) OR Craig's Bond engages in a fierce video game battle with the villain in Bond 24 (nodding back to NSNA)??

I don't see Craig's 007 playing golf, but I prefer it to a nod to NSNA!

Bond's first kill in the next film...

Clean kill

Wild West (wasn't that the idea behind Cowboys and Aliens?!)

Skyfall anniversary nod #2:

Was the fight on the train a nod to Octopussy?

No, it was purely coincidental and organically flowed from Mendes' Russian doll concept (car--motorcycle--train)

OR

Yes, the similarity of the choreographed falls of the two men before going into the tunnel and the colors of the boxcars are more than coincidence

As devastatingly cute as Naomi is, she's just a little to voluptuous for me, so I have to go with Paula Kaplan - she doesn't overfill a bikini.

Bigger alternate title song missed opportunity:

Alice Cooper's Man With the Golden Gun

or

Blondie's For Your Eyes Only

?

The car chase, for sure!

Do you think we will get another version of 'Skyfall' on DVD/Blu-Ray either with new scenes or added features?

YES - Like all great bovine, James Bond is a big cash cow with plenty of fans ready to milk it and take what they can in the future

OR

NO - They've given us the best and we've responded, so there will be no big demand for more
