Trevelyan as the villain in SF trying to get revenge against M and facing off against Craig's Bond? I think Silva would walk over Brosnan's Bond too easily.

Who was mis-cast as the villain...

Jonathan Pryce as Carver in 'Tomorrow Never Dies'

OR

Robert Carlyle as Renard in 'The World Is Not Enough'

??

Definitely Robert Carlyle as Renard...a waste of a role for him, especially since Elektra King turns out to be the main villainess..

Which Bond looke more "out-of-place" trying to copy another Bond's habits... Lazenby driving an Aston Martin OR Moore drinking a vodka martini?

Lazenby, poor Lazenby got it the worst being the first to follow Connery's footsteps.

Coolest Villain Liar #7: Carver's Stealth Boat with big underwater drill (TND) OR Graves's 'air force one' like plane with Icarus satellite (DAD)?

Carver's boat, I hate that stupid plane.

Does Bond feel more at home in:

the 1960s

OR

the 2000s

Definitely the '60s, baby.

Don't we all?

Best 3rd entry:

Goldfinger

The Spy Who Loved Me

The World Is Not Enough

or

Skyfall

The Spy Who Loved Me, Moore's overall best film.

Connery as Trevelyan

OR

Craig as Silva

Craig as Silva

Can see him having a sick and twisted dark side.

Using all of their available resources, who would win an all out villain war?

Blofeld (from TB)

OR

Silva

Blofeld.

Overall, smarter and a better survivor. He never put all his eggs in one basket.

On the other hand, if it came down to Blofeld vs Silva - at least Silva did manage to avenge himself on M, whereas Blofeld bungled his many chances to off 007.

Blofeld got many chances and blew them all - Silva had one and he blew it fatally.

(It helps to have been created by Fleming himself.)

The golden gun, disguised as men's accessories.

So easy to conceal.

Who wins

Jaws

or

Nick Nack (with knife from the end of MWTGG)

Jaws, but if it was a race then I'd say Nick Nack. Jaws runs like Frankenstein in comparison.

Bond 24 Director: Justin Lin from The Fast and Furious films or Paul W S Anderson from the Resident Evil movies?

Urgh. If any, I'll go for Paul W S Anderson.

When the time comes for Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli to leave the role as producers, who do you think will step up...

A continuing member of the current 'Bond production team'

OR

Someone new with connections to the franchise and studios

My bet's on a continuing member of the Bond / Broccoli family will step into the role.. Both Michael's sons, David and Gregg have been involved with the films for a while.. Skyfall is Gregg's fifth film..worked himself up from assistant editor and script supervisor on TWINE and DAD up to Associate Producer on SF..

Bond series-interruptus...are you now glad for the various halts in production schedules (6 years between LTK and GE, 4 years between DAD and CR, and 4 years between QoS and SF) as it allowed the producers to take the proper amount of time to refocus and reenergize the Bond series OR No, I still feel that they could have gotten 1 or 2 more Bond films made during the gap years, regardless of the quality??

I'm glad, we've gotten far superior films after the breaks. Look what happened when we were getting a film every two years for 23 years: MR, AVTAK, TMWTGG. After the long breaks though: GE, CR, SF....'nuff said.

Do you mean Robert DOWNEY Jr. and DENZEL Washington? I'll go with Denzel, could be a good cerebral villain.

Worst twist for the Bond series:

Turns out Dench's M wasn't dead after all and fights Mallory for the position

OR

Bond is an alien

Not really a hard choice - obviously Bond is an alien!

Should Judi Dench's M....

Rightfully have been killed, helping bring a full circle to Craig's Bond story

OR

Have been able to go into retirement, away from the Service but well and alive

*shudders at the thought of either*... If I have to chose...A young Lois Maxwell as Bibi Dahl.

Boat stunts in a Bond film...which was cooler?  The boat jump over Sheriff J.W.'s car in LALD OR the Q-Boat dive in the pre-titles of TWINE??

The Glastron GT 150 over the Sheriff's car there, Ed.

Nothing else comes close (except the Glastron-Carlson Scimitar in MR).

Best lifeboat rescue scene:

Dr. No

Thunderball

You Only Live Twice

The Spy Who Loved Me

or

Tomorrow Never Dies

Jessica Walters as Elektra

This quickly boils down to Ursula Andress vs. Barbara Bach, and I'm gonna go with The Spy Who Loved Me because I'd rather be in linen with any Bond girl and Dom Perignon than any row boat, raft on a sub, or stealth boat debris, let alone a cable harness that would clearly break your back.

Better double bill:

Skyfall / Never Say Never Again

OR

Die Another Day / Skyfall

54 - despite the Americanization and live TV production values, it is still a sincere attempt to act out the original story. One has to edit out about 1/2 of the Charles Feldman's effort to make it watchable.

Would Bond likely be:

A Trekkie, or

Like John McClane "more of a Star Wars guy"

Probably more of a Star Wars guy. I could see him being a fan of Han, whilst at the same time wanting to punch out William Shatner.

So, since it got skipped:

Betty White as Pussy Galore

OR

Jessica Walters as Elektra

?

Betty White as Pussy Galore would be pretty hilarious (are you listening, Mike Myers?)  And sorry about the skip, seawolfnyy.

Skyfall anniversary references: Was Silva's island an homage to Scaramanga and The Man with The Golden Gun ?

Yes, it was subtle but intended.

OR

No, it was part of the scripted story and just a coincidence.
